LJO: I gave this book to a child in Cuba.
It has stopped working, and, I assume the batteries are dead.
Batteries are impossible to purchase in Cuba.
I am travelling back to visit Cuba soon, and wondered if anyone could advise me on comparable batteries I could purchase in Canada or the U.S. that would fit this book.

Sophia: I accidentally ordered two of these books - which at first annoyed me but am now grateful. One book will only say everything english no matter how many times I switched the button between English and Spanish mode, it never spoke spanish for every single button. The second copy of the book works perfectly for spanish mode - I am too nervous to swap it over to English mode to see if it works in case I lose spanish mode. Will try and return the English speaking one. Fingers crossed.
Also batteries are flat after just a few weeks use and they use non standard batteries and have not been able to buy replacement batteries at both Bunnings and Woolworths in Perth, Australia.
