Eileen: I have been using retinol for years. My 1.5% is no longer available, which I loved, but it was irritating if I used it too many days in a row. This looked interesting. I read the reviews about sensitivity and was expecting some initial dryness and even rash. I experienced nothing, not even using it everyday. Either this does not really have the full amount of retinol that it advertises or it is really special. My lines have not changed. Neither better or worse. I do also apply a serum. When I run out, I will try it again. The verdict is still out.

Definitely see improvements with skin within a short time. I have sensitive skin, using with Juice Beauty serums and moisturizer - no irritation at all. Using only at night. Will keep buying! Was considering Neutogena and Olay but then you take a look at ingredients and yikes they also have carcinogens lol like wow, wince, & no thank you --- I'll stick with more pure basics over lab tested results with scary ingredients.

L.J.: However shortly after purchase I had an appointment with a dermatologist who recommended retinol treatment i.e. to gradually work my way from 2% to a 5% in squalene (dropper) due to long years with acne and resultant scaring. However again, I use this product on my neck and on the back of my hands and find that it is very beneficial. I also purchased the eye gel which I like very much. I will purchase these items again.

Caz: Ok, maybe I'm crazy here but I have super sensitive skin and I really worried this would break me out, as I tried an Olay retinol cream once and it really didn't work well, made my skin feel really greasy. I did have a couple of very small breakouts since I've been using this HOWEVER I have also been using a variety of different night moisturizers on top of this, so honestly I think it's that I'm either layering too many moisturizing items at night, or it could be the other things I'm using because I feel like I had noticed minor breakouts previously when using one or two of them. Basically, I need to be better about trying things individually.

If you're wondering why I'm giving it 5 stars despite the minor breakouts and not being able to 100% say it isn't this cream (although I'm like 98% certain), it's because after I'd been using this for only a few days I was startled one morning looking into the mirror, trying to figure out what looked so different. My skin looked so clear and smooth, but I didn't think that was it. Then I realized, the very minor lines/wrinkles I'd noticed previously that were forming around my mouth (smile lines, as people call them) were completely...

V Caird: I'm usually very sceptical about face eye and face creams, so when I bought from Amara Organics I did not have high hopes. I did research the amount of Retinal in Amara products and how the product compared to others . Most others with Retinol have a very small amount mixed with other ingredients, Amara had the most Retinol in the product so I went ahead and made a purchase. It was reasonably priced and a 'money back guarantee. I want you to know at this point I don't normally respond to giving reviews.

I have bags and dark shadows, I'm in my early sixties and have looked after my skin. After two weeks I definitely noticed my bags seemed less noticeable, still there, but seemingly softer! My skin really looks 'alive' and that's only after two weeks.

I'm definitely going to stick with this product for sure.

Debbie: I bought this for my teenager who has acne. She uses Vit C serum first then this. Sometimes we use a Manuka honey(raw) face mask. She has very sensitive skin. It is reasonably priced and not too harsh so the skin does not "rebel" against it. However if there are underlying reasons for acne such as Polycystic ovaries or excess testosterone, this will only stem the tide. Nevertheless the cream does help and is not like the rip-off or harsh abrasive products pervading the internet. It does not destroy the skin either, it conditions without grease and gently brightens it so that once the underlying problem is sorted out you will still have a skin left! I would highly recommend this product as a good quality, no nonsense part of a skin regime whilst examining the deeper causes of acne. I have also tried this cream and found it a light and effective base - I actually think my skin looks brighter for it. I have spent far too much on heavily advertised products with big promises. This quietly marketed product does the same with better quality ingredients.

R. L. AraujoR. L. Araujo: So I've had this a few months now initially I bought this as I have these spots under my skin all on my forehead and I had heard that retinol can help with this. I changed my whole skin care routine and bought this as well hoping it would help. Initially it seemed like my forehead was calming down the spots lessened and became a lot smaller however over this passed month my forehead has broken out into full on spots and is now a blotchy red mess. I'm not sure exactly what is causing this, but this cream certainly isn't helping, some times retinol can make people break out but I'm not sure if it's the retinol or another ingredient. I can't say for sure that my lessening and worsening spots is because of this cream but I don't think it's a miracle cream and the amount of positive reviews that seem to essentially have been paid for means others should perhaps be warey. I've attached a photo of my current skin after a few months of use.

Grace: I've been using this product for almost a month now. I do not use it everyday as I understood the provided directions stating that when the product increases sensitivity to the sun so it is best to apply every other day or so when first starting to use it. I purchased this product in hopes of decreasing the dark spots I have on my cheeks due to what I believe are hyperpigmentation scars from acne :( however I use another similar product (Vitamin C Serum for Face with Hyaluronic Acid, 20% C + E Professional Topical Facial Skin Care Helps Repair Sun Damage, Fade Age Spots, Dark Circles) so it's hard to pinpoint which is most effective. I believe that together, they've helped reduce my dark spots but after almost 30 days of use, I would have hoped for more of an improvement. I do not have any photos, but I still use coverup everyday to cover my dark spots although I did notice that the less serious, lighter spots have definitely improved. I suppose the really tragic, daaaark spots will need more time.
