A. Cavallo: I came into the skin care routine late in life!! I'll be 79 in a few months. To tell you the truth, I never really paid attention to the fine lines/wrinkles that aging brought. But when I happened to take selfie (had to do that to book an air bnb in N Y. When I looked at the closeup, to say I was horrified, was putting it lightly! Had I run into myself in a dark alley, I'd have run away screaming! Gosh, fine lines and wrinkles, a vertical line between my eyes from frowning, etc. I knew nothing really about products such as this one. I ordered it and began using it about 3 weeks ago. To begin with it, I decided to use it at night. I washed my face, patted it dry, and did this about 20 minutes before bed. I wanted it to really sink into my skin before bed because I'm a stomach sleeper and didn't want to waste the product by getting it on my pillowcase. I had used Helia-D for many years, not because of any moisturizing qualities, but because face foundation didn't wear off with a base of the Helia-D. vwluvbg70: I love(d) how this lotion makes my skin feel. It’s lightweight and allows my skin to breathe. However, there are two issues I’ve experienced. 1.) Shortly after using the lotion, I started to have what I thought was sinus swelling along my right brow. Today, for a completely unrelated issue, I went to my ENT. While there, I asked about my “sinus swelling”. I was informed that after reviewing a recent CT scan, my sinuses are clear and no issues. The doctor stated she sees the swelling and recommended me see a dermatologist. She feels is either an allergic reaction or some sort of eczema. 2.) Prior to the doctors visit, I have noticed some very, very mild stinging when first applying the lotion. This was usually around the outer parts of my eyes, above my cheek bones. I do have sensitive skin, but thought since the stinging sensation only lasted no more than 10-15 minutes, this really wasn’t something I needed to be overly worried about. (For other products, this sensation does not go away until I wash it off. So waiting a few moments is/was not an issue). I do have a dermatologist appointment sent up for 3 weeks, I’ll know more then if I am having a reaction to this...

Rebecca R.: It seems every time I find a moisturizer I like it becomes unavailable. I was looking for a new one once again and came upon this one. I always read customer reviews and I was hearing good things about this one so I purchased it thinking let’s give it a whirl because it also had a good price. I really love this moisturizer! I have sensitive skin and it didn’t break my face out, it has a very pleasant smell, and I love the feel of my skin since using it. Also, it was in my favorite type of dispenser. Most people are aware that jar moisturizer’s encourage faster oxidation because they expose the formula to air and light with every use. Basically this can diminish an ingredients potency. Also, bacterial contamination can come into play as well. Even though this moisturizer is in a jar, it is a pump dispenser, and when it gets low you can take the lid off and get every last drop, so no product is being thrown in the trash because you can’t get to it. Win/win all the way around. Please, PLEASE do not discontinue this product!

Patrick Robinson: Well I am a 45 yoa male and it may be a bit late, but over the last year or so I have really gotten into better health habits. This includes more exercise, eating healthy, and doing whatever I can in regards to taking care of my body. I have stuff for nourishing my hair in an attempt to stop/ slow down hair receding, moisturizers and serums for my face, body lotions and exfoliates etc etc. I also go in twice a month to the spa for pedicures and facials. I have gotten a lot of advice from these spa professionals on products I need to be using at home on a daily basic. This cream would fit into that category. I have purchased and tried many and I really like this one so far. First, love how it dispenses! Very easy and mess free--so creative. The cream has a pleasant scent and not overpowering or too perfume smelling at all. Not greasy at all, this is huge for me, I just can't stand the greasy lotions and moisturizers at all. My lady at the spa checked it out and gave her approval. I'm hoping with continued disciplined use the retinol will really start doing its thing. Until then I am really enjoying a soft hydrated face. I will make sure to post a follow-up with longer term effects....
