AdventureInUtah: I purchased a set of two of these keys for my Jeep Wrangler JK. I only had one OEM key, but I was able to use the iPhone app OBD JScan to program these keys. If you don't have that you will have to go to a dealership or possibly a locksmith for programming. Within a couple minutes, I had both programmed and all of the functions worked. It was actually more of a pain to find someone that actually still cuts keys. After about the fifth stop, I was able to get the keys cut at Ace Hardware and then program them.

So far, these keys work well in every way. I have heard horror stories about generic keys stopping working 6-12 months down the road, but these are just extra keys for me. If they stop working, I will update this review.

The Linux Dragon: My car is old, and has high mileage. Often I fix it myself (as my dad is an automotive mechanic and I have learned from him). I spent over $1100 on repair parts for it this year. Thus I was worried about whether I needed to get a new key fob for it since they are typically so expensive... I only had one and it's circuit board was beginning to fail. Well, I decided to give this a shot when I found Amazon's automotive department (wow amazon has everything). I was worried that the price meant that the key would be cheaply made. Instead it turned out to be an extremely good value for the money. Since I only had one key fob, I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs to get it programmed and cut. Their incompetent employees couldn't cut it though, so I took it to Home Depot. They cut it, and when they were finished, I went back to get it programmed at Batteries Plus Bulbs. It was supposed to be $40, but their incompetent employees also undercharged me. I guess sometimes, dealing with encompetent employees pays off. Also, in working to get this programmed, I discovered that my car will not crank if the key is not programmed to its PCM, so this was totally worth it. I will probably order a second...
