C F: Not identical to OEM, but that shouldn't matter.
The fobs accepted programming and both start the car, BUT the remote functions DO NOT WORK.

The support site listed wants all kinds of information, including a photo of the item, street address, phone number. Way over the top for "how can I make this work?" Would I buy again....well, I have a working spare key that opens the door, but without remote functions....you decide.

DarrinDarrin: 2010 Ford Escape. Easy to program. It programed like it should. All I had to do is get a locksmith shop to cut my key off my old key I did the rest. Please online video search it for the ignition programing and the fob programing as well. (Also if it doesn't program you may have to may keys already programed you will have to contact a ford dealership)

ivan: The keys work great

David M.: I've bought aftermarket key remote blanks before, and have had no issues once I programmed them to whichever car I needed them for. The last key remote I purchased (from a different seller) lasted for 4 years, was easy to program, and only required the very occasional battery change. This is not my first rodeo; I know how to program these for my car. I purchased this set because I thought it was a decent price for 2 key remotes. The first key remote took many, many attempts to get the remote button actions (lock/unlock/trunk) to work -- and this one lasted for 3 months before the remote button actions stopped working. I had the second key remote cut and was able to program it to start the car with no issues. But despite many, many attempts, getting the remote button actions to program and work correctly has been fruitless. I've wasted a lot of time on these, and given that I've not had this issue with this type of product from different sellers, what conclusion can I come to other that these are a complete waste of money? Into the locksmith's garbage can for useless keys they go. Not happy.

Amazon Customer: Keys were a good price, getting them cut and synced to my flex was a nice little price tag as well. The bad is it turned up some codes on my car, and turns out the keys are not OEM.
Update: 01/08/22
So I went back to the locksmith where I cut my key, and I realized that they tried starting my car before it was programmed to my car, which made the codes pop up. When I replaced my catalytic converter, the mechanic cleared all of the codes. When I used my new keys I purchased from Amazon after the codes were cleared they have not popped up so far.

Mr T: Needed one key, so it worked out. This deal was two keys for basically a bit more than the price of one, so the fact that only one key would program was not a serious problem. The second key was cut so doors and trunk could be opened, but the key will not start the car nor will it operate the keyless functions. One out of two ain't bad, but raised the difficulty that I could not return both items, as I needed one, and I cannot get refunded for a half order.

Justin: These keys worked great. I tried taking them to a local hardware store as well as the local Walmart to see if they would cut the key blanks. Unfortunately the machines aren't equipped to cut automotive keys. I contacted a local locksmith and he charged me $5 per key. He offered to program the transponder chip for $50 if I brought my vehicle to him. I passed on the offer because I was able to use a Windows program called ForScan with an OBD2 Bluetooth adapter and a $10 yearly extended license to program the transponder chips. I was able to remove the current keys in the PATS module and completely reprogram the 2 new keys as well as a 3rd spare. My vehicle is a 2010 Ford F150 and they worked great. I was then able to program the FOB portion of the key for keyless entry by first unlocking the doors with the unlock switch and then turning the key forward to run and then back to off a total of 8 times. On the 8th time I left the key on run and then the truck entered programming mode. I then proceeded to hit the lock button on each FOB. Each time I pressed the lock button the horn would honk to verify that FOB as programmed. After the second FOB programmed, I turned the ignition back to...

Nicholas C.: Great replacement key. I always buy an extra key just in case. Just get it cut, and to program, there are several steps.
1. Stick factory key 1 on in ignition, turn to run position till anti theft light (red with lock symbol) turns off.
2. Turn off and pull factory key 1 out.
3. Repeat step one with factory key 2.
4. Put NEW key in and repeat step one.
5. Pull NEW key out, put back in, start engine.
Your key will now start your car. However, the remote functions probably will not work. In that case, put either of the factory keys in the ignition, and move the key from off to run position 8 (yes, eight) times. The doors should lock and unlock to show the car is in programming mode. Pull the factory key from the ignition, and press the lock key on the new key. Your car should lock. That should be sufficient -- your key will be programmed. Make sure all the functions on the key work. I hope this was helpful. This works with most Ford products that use this type of key. I have also done this on an 09 Milan that I had and it worked the same way.
