D. Krause: Easy job

Charles R Balgobin: The seller should provide photos of the front and back of the key, as there are different types with different marking for the Toyota Camry. This key did not work for an 2003 Camry Japan model.

Geo: Works well. Easy to program

Jeff K.: Key does not have a chip or transponder in it to be able to be programmed for the vehicle.
Did not know this until i tried to get it programmed and it failed

Jake: I got it cut and programmed to my car and it worked perfect BUT....

I am having issues about once or twice a week during each summer! The car just won't start. It took me literally hours to find out but all clues point to this key. Another customer here is experiencing the same issue!

Basically, the key won't get recognized by the immobilizer when the vehicle cabin is hot. The immobilizer has no problem recognizing the genuine original toyota transponder key.

So be aware, if you live in a state with hot weather you'll most likely run into this issue. It can get extremely frustrating when you are running out of time, hop in your vehicle and just realize it won't start. The trick is to open all windows and try to cool the car down (A/C won't work since the car doesn't start).

Pretty much every single time I was eventually able to start the car but it took up to 15 minutes of waiting. Yay.

So be careful Texans, Californians, Floridians, Arizonians!
I live in Mid-Atlantic area and we have 95F summers here. During that temp when the car sits on the sun, it won't budge.

Bernard: Needed extra key for 2005 Toyota Sienna. Ordered appropriate 4D-67 transponder key from Amazon for $8.95. As others have mentioned, key as received did not contain dot verifying transponder chip included. Decided to program blank before cutting in case programming unsuccessful & would want to return key for refund. However, was able to self-program easily on very first attempt per following steps (as researched on web): (1) Closed driver’s side door; (2) Quickly inserted master key in ignition 5 times (leaving key in ignition after 5th insertion; (3) Immediately opened & closed driver’s side door 6 times (in quick succession, leaving door closed after 6th time); (4) Immediately removed master key from ignition & inserted blank replacement; (5) Waited approximately 1 minute for security light to stop flashing (& it did); (6) Removed newly programmed replacement key (security light resumed flashing); (7) Inserted newly programmed replacement key in ignition & security light stopped flashing (verifying programming successful). Now that replacement blank was successfully programmed, took key to Parts Department at nearby Toyota dealer who cut key according to...

Timothy Butler: Lost my set of key and push button remote of a 2004 Sienna. My more responsible wife still had her original set of keys. Wasn’t going to pay 150 dollars for a replacement due to the age of the vehicle. Ordered a new ignition key and remote fob via Amazon Prime. Had the new key cut at Home Depot by copying the original key. That gave me a new key that could engage the starter but by design, it would not start the car. The new cut key needs the chip programmend to start the car. I programmed the new key and remote in the Home Depot parking lot in less than 10 minutes. The procedures were well documented on YouTube for both items. Just select a video that gets to the point. There are 10 to 12 minute videos for some reason that document 60 seconds of work. I played the YouTube video on my phone and simply followed along. There is a procedure for the key and a different procedure for the push button remote. For some cars such as this Sienna, the car and old keys (wife’s set of keys) are all you need to program the new key and remote. Specific sequences of inserting keys into ignition and opening and closing drivers door enables the car to program the new key. The new remote had...

Haven't had the key cut yet but looks like the right key.

Barry: When purchase with a smart key programmer, it worked. This is not something an amateur can do with no technical ability can do easily. However, it does work and the given the price compared to the dealer it is a no brainer. You can tell the key isn't OEM.

David M.: Great price. A local key cutter charged me five bucks to cut it, and once it was programmed, I now have an extra key for my truck at less than a quarter of the price from the local stealer (whoops, I mean dealer).
