lydiamd92alydiamd92a: I loved the first one I got to try this style out on my historic tub fixtures. It fit cause there is so many adapters which I love! Been a hunt to find something that fits. They are pricey but my choices are thin. I was a bit disappointed to get my 2 pack with messed up dirty looking labels. As you can see I have not unpacked them. It’s okay since I have plenty to choose from that have good print. For the price I would not expect the labels to look like as if it has print issues. If it was the only one I purchased I would of given less stars for it.

Terence: I got these for my retro cast iron enameled kitchen sink and my retro clawfoot freestanding tub with floor mounted tub filler spigot. They look sooooper! However, they needed one more adapter and machine screw for the 7.6mm 20 tooth broach used with the SVG Enterprises tub filler common with Walmart free standing tub options (the spline is the same size as Kohler 7.6mm 20 tooth broach, but the screws are a different size). The multitude of adapters and screws provided with the DANCO replacement handles will not directly fit the 7.6mm broach, not even the metal cube adapters with the three allen set screws (the set screws are too short and fall out on the small diameter broach). For less than $5 on Amazon you can get a pack of two Kohler adapters that will work on the 7.6mm 20 tooth broach (KOHLER GENUINE PART GP1074231 SPLINE ADAPTERS) in combination with the size N plastic cube adapter and spacers already provided with the DANCO cross handles. None of the DANCO screws work with the SVG 7.6mm 20 tooth broach (they may work on the Kohler version, I don't know, but Kohler does use a different screw size thamn SVG), for SVG 7.6mm 20 tooth you will need a size M4-.70 x 30mm long...

S. Singh: I usually never leave a bad review but this one deserves it. The actual knobs are metal and are high quality. Looks great. However, the adapters that connect to the existing stems are absolute garbage!!! They strip after a couple turns turning on and off the tap. Thats because they are PLASTIC. Yes plastic vs a brass stem. There is a metal “ Fit all” adapter the will work better than the plastic but your knob will be off center and you can damage the threads of the brass stem if you over tighten.

Such a shame. This could have been an awesome kit if they used metal adapters. Right now I have install 4 of these knobs and they have all failed.

EDIT: There is a way to make this kit work I should have mentioned but my original 2 star rating still stands. There is a metal "Fit all" adaptor that does work, BUT if you don't apply it right will either strip your brass stem or be a really crooked knob. Here how to install to get DECENT Results.

1) Take off the off knob by keep the screw.
2) Put on Fit All metal adaptor over stem. Make sure all screws on adapter are loose.
3) Put on old screw from old knob on to Fit All Adaptor to hold it in place and...

LeCustomer deAmazon: Clever stuff these adaptable faucets. But the screws were a little shy of reaching my older faucet bolting mechanism. I looked for a matching faucet for a long time, so I am glad to have found these, buuuuut...the screws are too short!! Sigh. Another trip to Rona.

Ibrahim AlkhalafIbrahim Alkhalaf: I love and hate these handles - here is my take.

The handles have some heft to them, and they are beautiful - they were exactly what I was looking for in terms of looks and feel.

The installation and parts were a nightmare, but I hope to help anyone who runs into the same issues I did in getting them installed, as I could t find any suitable alternatives anywhere else.

Starting with the hardware -

The handles come with three screw covers. One for cold, hot, and flow direction (faucet vs shower) if you’re using it for a three handle bath faucet. The covers are high quality and look great. They have o-rings that seat firmly and fit well.

You also get screws with the handle - these are very long, and you will almost always need to cut them down to make them fit. More on that later..

You get a set of plastic adapters that are meant to attach to the valve head to allow for the handle to engage with it when turning the handle. In my experience, the valve head was far too small (see picture) so they were worthless to me.

The valve cover (silver tube thing) looks well made and fits the handle well.

TC: We bought these to replace some older, similar style ones that had stripped over time. These looked similar, and since they were universal, we gave them a shot. They work, but who knows how long they will last?

Pros - The enamel looks nice. They have good weight to them, and both the enamel and the chrome are nice and polished. The nylon part to fit on the stem come in multiple sizes, and they have a universal adapter with screws to tighten, should all else fail. It also comes with lots of different screws of all threading and lengths. For 15 dollars, seems like a pretty decent value.

Cons - Like others have said, their system to check to see which nylon adapter you should use is flawed (we have done all kinds of DIY, and this was not done well, but also not too big a deal - just took more time). Only some of the adapters are labeled to match the measurement system (supposed to be 4 of 7), and the one that I wanted wasn't even in the kit lol (we bought two handles, and one of them had 2 of the 4 actually in the kit labeled, and the other had 3 of the 4) although there are 7 different nylon adapters. That made this take a while, and when I thought I had the right...

Meowmy: It takes a bit Of time to find the right square and then affix it by tapping into place, and correct size screw, but it was worth it. The end result is miles better than what I had previously. I have just ordered another for the cold water. I had gone to a hardware store and was told by two sales clerks that my faucet would be loose and hard to turn off and nothing I could do but replace the whole unit. So glad these faucet handles exist - far less costly and so attractive.
