Happy2BGF: this costume is far too small compared to the size charts. It arrived listed at 3x 26/28. I'm normally an 18 on top and 22 on bottom. i carefully measured and even ordered up. the costume was far too small. Its oddly long in the torso and very fitted through the hips. The fabric stretches but it's terribly unflattering. frustrated

J. Stumpfel: This costume runs large, but that's better than being too tight. I read some reviews about the arm bands beings too small...and one of my biggest problems that I have larger arms. I had no issues with the sleeves or bands being too small. The fabric is "cheap", but drapes beautifully and looks nice. You might want to wear a slip or foundation garment as in bright lighting, you can see through it a little bit. It has a sturdy zipper in the back. The ties in front help with customization of fit. Be gentle when pulling the cord. There was more than enough cord to accommodate a variety of figures. You can adjust the length simply by cutting with scissors. This costume design is surprisingly flattering for different body sizes and shapes. For sizing purposes, the model used for the costume stands at 5' 7" (said so on the package and that jibes with first-hand experience). I think it's well made for a costume in this price category. It's made well enough to use several times. Hand washable in cold water.

Shea: Runs true to size, and is really pretty. Fabric is not amazing quality, but isnt the traditional costume see through crushed velvet crap either. The ribbon to tie the front of the bodice IS kinda crappy, but could be replaced easily enough. Overall its worth the money! And shipping was super quick. Way faster than I expected.

Amber: Keeping in mind the reasonable price, I am quite surprised and very pleased with this dress. I am a chunky size 20 and my upper arms frequently don't fit pre-made clothing. These sleeves are very comfortable.
Overall this dress is too large for me but I gave it 5 stars anyway because the alterations I will need to make will be very easy and quick to do. (I would estimate this would best fit a true 22/24.) I will need to shorten the hem and the sleeves and take in the front at the vertical ribbon on the bodice. I will replace the lacing across the bodice with a softer ribbon or cording.
Yes the fabric is a little thin but not see through. Good in warmer weather, in cooler weather I can wear something under it. And it has some stretch to it so it will be comfortable to wear. I have no complaint with the workmanship. It even zips, is not a pullover.
I was surprised that it will accommodate a small hoop or crinoline. I will add here that I cannot use a large hoop under my dress, as beautiful as they look, because I have a booth at festivals and a large hoop would be too much in the way. I do like some fullness though. I tried this dress on with a crinoline and it looks...

K: This was a great costume, especially given the $35 price point. I was really nervous ordering it online, as costume sizing is wildly inaccurate. I am 5'6", an average size 16 all around, and it fit me pretty well - a little large through the chest area, but I easily remedied that by pulling the front gold ribbon a little tighter. It hit the floor but it wasn't so long that I tripped on it, plus I wore slippers and not regular shoes, so that'll make a difference. I'd say this would fit a size 16-size 20 wonderfully, and could probably go up to size 22-24, depending on how you're built. The material holds up nicely, it's not so thin that it's see through like most costumes. Had plenty of room in the sleeves without feeling like I was going to Hulk out of them. There's no gross chemical smells like a lot of costumes, either. My only complaint is that it came with a lot of hanging strings that I had to trim off. Other than that, great costume! I want to wear it again! Recommend!

Murray: The dress is lovely. It is completely adjustable for size because of the lacing on the front. I recommend flattening out the lacing for a more polished look.

Now about those sleeves! I sew and wasn't put off by the comments about the tight sleeves. There is definitely a horrible pinch point on the sleeves at the embroidered banding. It made no sense in a garment the is really amply fit everywhere we else. I opened up the sleeves and laid them out. The problem was obvious. One side of each sleeve was cut short by about an inch and a half. I added some hand cut "eye" shaped wedges and that returned the seems to matching up. The patch is on the inside of the elbow so it's relatively discreet.

I'm 5' 10" and the dress reaches down to the top arch of my foot.

If I couldn't fix the sleeves I would have had to return the item. But it's a true purple and it was worth the time to correct the flaw. Now I will wear it give out candy for Halloween!
