Suffer from migraine and tension headaches? Magic Gel provides the perfect solution with their Headache and Migraine Relief Cap. This stretchy and comfortable ice mask or hat is designed to provide dark and cool relief. Made with Magic Gel's best Cold Packs, this product is sure to provide effective relief from even the worst headaches.Taylor: I agree with the other reviewers when they say that the ice packs get a little too hard when they are fully frozen. And unfortunately keeping it in the fridge didn’t make it quite cold enough to be effective. However, I will say that it didn’t take too long for them to soften up when you started wearing it. You have to mess with it a little to get the ice where your specific spots are, but overall I like it. Is it a migraine God-send? Maybe not, but I still like it and overall would recommend.

sean murphy: After rotator cuff surgery I was advised to ice the area 3 times daily for about 20 minutes each. I purchased two gel packs but really only needed one, as it chilled sufficiently between sessions. Fit is reasonable, easy to use and the product works as intended. I recommend fitting and securing the bottom strap permanently and top strap can be adjusted with one hand only.

PachiPachi: These adorable cold packs are kid friendly and easy to use. There are four different ones in all. Each one has a different color and a different funny face. There are gel pellets inside to keep it cold. The front is pliable plastic and the back is a furry cloth in the same color as the face. Each one has a convenient strap in the matching color for holding the pack in place. I put mine in the freezer and they definintely get cold. The manufacturer recommends to put a cloth between the cold pack and the skin to avoid frostbite. (I agree - it gets cold!) They also say not to use longer than 15-20 minutes which is about how long the cold lasts. Having multiple packs makes it easy to switch out a room temperature one for a cold one. Getting hurt is never fun but at least now my granddaughter has a funny friendly face to help her boo-boo get better!

PishPash: To make these work for me I heated both gel packs up, letting the gel liquid gather up on one side, hooked onto the edge of a 500ml tin jar, and upon sitting there for 5 mins I fold over the empty side, and insert one per eye into the mask - retains the heat for the best part of 10 mins that way. Fine if you do it like that, honestly, but not so good at all if you only use one of them across the whole mask.
May have been helpful if they had made each gel pack larger, with more gel, at least double the amount, but hey, they send you two, so it can be worked around.
I've hated needing to use these - ended up with 3 chalazion things (however it's spelled), at once - nightmare, like knuckles poking out of my eyelids, for which these were very helpful, enabling me to shift a lot of the fluid caught up in them by massaging top to bottom for the upper lids, and bottom to top with the lower lids, for about 5 mins afterwards.
If you've got blepharitis, which my optician confirmed for me some weeks later, you need to also keep your eyelids clean daily. I use baby shampoo some days, and this tea tree wipe you can get on others. Wash your lids. And if they keep coming...

Anna F.: Walczę z opuchlizną dłoni po 6 tygodniach w gipsie - nie tak łatwo obłożyć się kompresami i dlatego zakupiłam tę rękawicę. Pozwala stosować gorące i zimne okłady (podgrzewanie w mikrofali lub chłodzenie w lodówce), wystarczy w łatwy sposób wsunąć rękę do środka. Rozmiar rzeczywiście uznałabym za średni - noszę rękawiczki w rozmiarze 8, a rękawica jest dla mnie dość przylegająca, dla większych dłoni może być zbyt mała.
Podsumowując - udany zakup.

dandeliongirl: So much better than dealing with a bag of frozen peas! I feel like at this point, I’m an unofficial “expert” in shopping for ice packs. ;) I have severe degenerative disc disease and deal with debilitating chronic neck and back pain (and chronic daily migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, severe arthritis in knees, hip arthritis/bursitis, SI joint issues, etc.), so I’m constantly treating my pain and inflammation by rotating using reusable ice packs throughout the day and night. I have an entire shelf in a wider style/French door style freezer dedicated just to keeping ice packs cold at all times.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve tried several different brands and types of reusable ice packs—clay packs (don’t stay cold long enough for my needs, too small), super expensive squishy gel packs with spandex fabric covering (feel good but don’t stay cold for long, and are also heavy for their size and require sealing in zip top bags during freezing so they don’t expand by absorbing water from the small amount of humidity in the freezer), flexible gel packs (similar style, “guaranteed” but only last 6 months or so before leaking). But it seems even the most expensive...

L. Kiddy: I bought this cap to help with migraines. A cold cloth or ice pack when you have a migraine can offer some relief but they either don't get cold enough or stay cold long enough. I found this item during a search for an alternative and after reading the reviews decided to give this a go. After using this cap with several migraines I have mostly wonderful things to say about it and only a few minor negatives.
Pros:
This thing gets cold and I mean freezing cold and it will stay cold for at least an hour. When I go to bed with a migraine, this thing is cold long enough for me to go to sleep. The cap is also a snug fit which is a great bonus because the tightness of the cap applies pressure which when combined with the cold is a winning combo! The cap is sectioned out in squares and inside each square is an ice cube which can be moved or pushed to the area that is hurting. The ice cubes are hard but not so hard that you can't lay down on them. I can use this cap sitting in a chair or sleeping in bed and I never have to fear it will fall off!
Cons:
The cap will probably freeze your eyeballs! No matter how you put the cap on, there is always an ice cube close to your...
