Jennifer Wang: The duster did pick up some dust to some degree. Sometimes it did also push dust around without picking up. The most annoying is the fibers frequently and so easily caught by car emblems and structures, pulling it out after merely few use. I now have multiple loose fibers on the duster. Don't know if it is just bad luck that the one I got was bad quality? Or if it happens commonly.

Suzanne: I'm very happy with this car duster.

Use: I park outside and use this duster on the outside of the car prior to putting on the car cover. This keeps the inside of the car cover clean. I have noticed that dusting and a wet towel for spot cleaning also extends the time between car washings. Saves time and money. I am not using this duster to dust the inside of the car. I think a smaller duster or towel would be better for the dash, etc.

Quality: it is very thick with lots of loops. The hand has a good grip on it and the handle length extends just enough for me to reach the top of the car. I have noticed that I need to be careful around sharp edged trim pieces to ensure I do not snag the duster's loops. I suspect this would be the same problem with any car duster.

Cleaning: Right now I'm just shaking out the dust from the duster. Not sure if I will need to wash it in the future - TBD

植毛が捻った太い糸なので、ボンネットやトランクの角に引っかかり、植毛糸が伸びる。
これは改善点。
パイプを回すと長さ変えられるのだか、
頑丈なのが仇となり、柔軟性がない。
ここは、耐久性の良い点とハタキの柔軟性の
どっちとるか迷い所。

D Florez: Honestly it's a good duster, but I can't tell you it's a quality product! Dusts well. If you're going to use it every evening, the constant putting it in and pulling it out of the flimsy bag will destroy the bag. Mine was toast in 2 or 3 weeks. It's got a telescoping arm. Second or third time I extended it, the arm pulled out of the brush. I had to bang it back in; so I gave up the telescoping feature. NOW several months down the road it’s 2/23, and the duster has stared becoming unraveled! Started with the top, which I had to trim off. Now it continues. So while this does do a good job dusting, I would still say it’s not well made and doesn’t seem to last that long.

eric: I have been using the standard issue wooden handle "California Car Duster" for years now and while it's great and I still use it sometimes, it represents the old technology cloth which could scratch paint finishes. The California duster got around that by putting wax in the shredded cloth to prevent scratching, and it works well for the most part. However, this new microfiber technology that's really become popular in the last few years has improved on that old design and allowed for scratch free dust removal without the weird waxy stuff. It also is machine washable while the other duster isn't really. So if and when this one gets dirty, just pull off the microfiber part and wash it and it's back to new.

As with any duster, it has its limits. I would not use it on a very dirty car that has been rained on or has a lot of bugs on it. Sometimes you just need to wash your car. But for those times when there is a light layer of dust, this duster works great. The retractable handle is good, especially if you have a truck or SUV, to get up high. It also works great with the handle pushed in.

This duster comes with a nice plastic storage bag to keep it clean and ready to go...

Ron: I just received the duster yesterday. First of all, I am very pleased with the quality of this product. It is very well made and strong. The extendable handle feels very strong and the non slip foam grip is very comfortable. When the handle is extended, there is absolutely no hint of wobble because of the construction of the shaft. Being an engineer, the design of the tube that makes up the sliding handle is the way you design something that will not bend or work loose over time. The tube has an oval shape and quite robust, it also has two guide groves, one on each side. If this extension mechanism ever loosens or bends, I will be very surprised. Also, when extending the handle, there is a certain amount of resistance that will not let the brush slide back accidentally when fully opened or fully closed. Don't look for any buttons or levers to operate when extending or closing this handle because there are none. You just need to use a small amount of effort to open or close the duster by holding the brush part and pulling the handle to open and pushing the handle to close, it will slide smoothly into position.
