Sue Lilly: I am fed up with fashion that is designed for tall, slender, stick women, which describes 85% of the clothes in retail stores. I have a nice figure, but am size 14 and have curvy hips. I’ve discovered I look great in retro dresses (they knew how to design for real women back then!) with bolero jackets on top. The problem is, most of these items are available only through sites like Amazon and AliExpress, where the clothes are shipped directly from China (where presumably they design clothes for real women because that’s where the money is — let’s face it, most women are not built like a stick!) The dresses purchased from China are nice, but the arms on the short jackets shipped from China are often too skinny to fit my size 14 frame. This bolero jacket, made in Canada, solved my problem! It is made of a thick fabric, drapes beautifully, and fits my arms. I love this jacket and how it flatters me and my womanly frame. My husband says I look great in it! I will be buying more in different colors.

delicateflower152: The "Rekucci Women's Soft Knit Rounded Hem Stretch Bolero Shrug " is exactly what I needed to complement my sleeveless dresses. The length is perfect for many high-waisted dresses that are currently available. The shrug is a tightly woven, polyester and spandex jersey-knit that is unlined. The three-quarter length sleeves are banded formed from the same knit as the shrug; a 2" width band forms the bottom, front edges and collar of the shrug.
I ordered an extra small and the following information is based on that size. The back length, from the bottom-edge seam of the collar to the bottom edge of the shrug is about 16 1/4". The underarm measurement of the sleeves is approximately 10 1/4". When laying flat, the sleeve measures approximately 5" across, tapering to 4 1/2" across at the bottom - doubling this gives you an approximate circumference. Because the fabric is a light knit, there is some give and if your measurements are close to those on Rekucci's chart, you can probably order the smaller size. The chart was very accurate.
