Christopher Dargie: Haven't had a chance to put it to use however, it does seem to be of good quality. When comparing to my father's military issue the likeness is basically the same. The handle will fit large hands, and it weighs next to nothing. Only difference is this shovel has a pick and my father's does not. Don't hesitate to purchase this one if your looking. Oh, and the case is very durable and has a belt loop sewn in.
