Markos Gerges: The product itself is unique and its intention is to create a wood-grain to products that do not have wood grain. This comes clutch in different DIY renovation situations. However, to create a realistic wood grain you will need to spend a lot of time and to be very detailed here. The colors you choose play a big factor and the way you use this tool plays a big factor. I wish they included a tool to make the lines properly that you see in normal wood grain patterns but this triangle tool failed at doing that. Its a good intended product but needs improvements to make ease of usage better for its customers.

LoriLori: Super neat tool. Took a bit to figure out, but the end result is fabulous! Recommend a few trial runs first, and actually liked using it better without the handle. Great value for the price!

Amazon Customer: The tool itself seems to be well made, but the pattern it leaves I was not that impressed with it. If you desire wood grain, I suggest biting the bullet and buy the actual thing rather than try to fake it.

Doe ZDoe Z: I used this with the Giani Garage/Front Door kit, https://amzn.to/3ueJ7E5 and WOW. I don't know how the inventor of this thought of it or figured it out, but it's even better than my highest hopes. All my neighbors thought I got real wood doors :) I used the big wide one and it was so easy. Do the base coat, let it dry. Apply a decent layer of the top coat, place the tool at the edge, rock and drag it down to the other edge and it looks like real wood! The dragging and rocking thing...the drag seems to make those longer grains, and the rocking makes the knots. If you do it and don't like it, paint over it again real quick and go again before it dries. I'm going to use this for other projects as it was so great!

Sara KSara K: My phone doesn't take the most color-accurate photos (close up pic true to color), but we got this nifty tool to add wood-grain look to the cement floors in our basement but then I got the idea to do our big bulky built-in shelves in our living room because I originally wanted to cover them in wood but didn't want to add to their bulk, so this was a good solution for now while we renovate our house. Practice on something else first, and practice your color choices first! It took my 5 tries and 5 trips to the hardware store to get the coloring right. I ended up going with a very light yellow tone for the first coat, then a slightly darker yellow/gold tone beige for the second coat because I wanted it to look like unfinished pine wood. The basement floors will be darker...maybe...I might change those a bunch too before being satisfied. The smaller of the two tools is virtually worthless, it does not work as well as the larger one and you have to press really hard to get it to leave any grain, or it takes too much off in the other direction. It was also hard to get up to the edge of the wall, I ended up having to do that with my fingers and a damp paper towel to try to carry the...
