marvin bunting: These swabs are pointed on the end and are super absorbent. I use them to paint airplane canopies as they are just right for following the panel lines. They are also useful for cleaning up mistakes as well. I have used them on several models and am quite satified about the way they have turned out. I have bought several sizes to have on hand for everyday use, that's how useful they are. Get them for whatever use you can think of, you'll be glad you did.

4MyFun: These tips are perfect for so many different applications. I use magnetic eyeliner, and always make a mess, and these are perfect to dab a little make up remover on and remove excessive product along my eyes. I also find they are great for getting earwax out of ears. When I use the regular Q-tips, the round bulb tends to either push the wax in or the Q-tip material up comes apart. These Q-tips have no problem getting to the smaller areas and they don’t come apart which is what we all are looking for. And yes, I use a high-quality Q-tip normally, and they still fall apart.

Wendy: I'm impressed with these. The cotton is wound tight so that there are no little strands sticking out. The little stick is sturdy. I'm going to use them to add detail with my oil pastels and for blending. Arrived ahead of time, too. Can highly recommend.

Lisa Lamkins: I love these for applying and blending my make up. I never have to clean brushes or make up sponges because I just grab a new clean cotton pointy swab. The tip is great for eyebrows and lips ( to wipe off when you go out of the lip lines or brow lines. Turning pointy swab at an angle they work great for concealer under the eyes, especially if you need to touch up concealer under eyes after doing your full eye make up. I like them for painting my nails too, the pointy tip wipes away polish when you go out of line on your nails. The best part is you know using these pointy swabs for cosmetics is very sanitary since you don’t have to wash any make up applying brushes and/or sponges.

Omar Gonzalez : There were a lot of cotton tips, however, these are extremely pointy! Please be careful. I would probably not buy these if you wanted them for your ears but they are perfect for make up removal since they have that pointy tip you can more accurately remove only the make up you want. I personally don't think I'll purchase them again because I was looking for something softer but boy are these sturdy!

History lover: My go to clean up tool for cleaning up around cuticles and side walls for gel or nail polish is a square, flat gel brush dipped in acetone, but these work as well. Not great for getting into tight corners (a brush works much better) but the fact that they're disposable, fairly pointy and firm, even when saturated with alcohol or acetone makes them quite useful- particularly when working on clients since hygiene is always extremely important. I would recommend for this purpose.
