F.H. aus K.: Ich habe selbst früher lange Jahre Baseball gespielt und meinem damals 3jährigen diesen Handschuh gekauft. Er sieht gut aus, die Hand passte gut rein, auch jetzt noch, wo er 5 ist.

Der mitgelieferte Ball hat eine sehr gute Härte: nicht zu weich, dass man ihn mit einer Keule direkt kaputt haut, nicht zu leicht, dass er nicht gut zu werfen ist, sondern genau richtig für Schläge mit kleiner Alukeule (hält auch meine aus) und zum Werfen. Andere Schaumstoffbälle zerfetzen oder fliegen nicht richtig.

Aber zum Handschuh: er ist aus Kunstleder: das lässt sich nicht ideal formen, bleibt nicht offen, zum Fang selbst ist das nicht gut. Werde bald einen Lederhandschuh anschaffen.

Positiv: zum Ausprobieren vollkommen ausreichend, v.a. für den Preis. Wenn man dann feststellt, dass der Nachwuchs Lust auf mehr hat, muss man mit Lederhandschuh aufrüsten.

Dave W Fyvie: Perfect fit for my 4yr old son. It's made out of a very soft plastic. Durable and with enough flex that a 4yr old can close the glove on a ball.

Javier Diaz: El guante muy padre y de buena calidad, desafortunadamente la pelota que viene no es de la misma calidad es de esponja muy suave y rebota en el guante por lo que no sirve para enseñarles a los niños a atrapar la pelota. Tendré que comprar una pelota aparte.

Chris: Bought this for my 2 year old because his brother was getting a better one. Cute Glove.. Darth Vader Colors.. (when he ignites his lightsaber). Add some oil and condition it and it softens up but is very small.. (perfect for a 4-6 year old.. still too big for a 2 year old). It's not leather (obviously).. but it's sturdy and cool looking and hopefully once my little dude grows into it.. he'll be catching line drives and grounders like a 4 year old.

Great for the price...

Brooke: I have a 4 year old boy who just started Tball for the first time and he had never used a baseball glove before. There were no complaints from him as soon as he put it on. It fits him great, and it didn't take him long to figure out how to squeeze his hand to catch the ball. It wasn't too stiff for him. It is the perfect size, the colors are great, it looks just as pictured. The soft ball is an added bonus, because after seeing a bunch of little 4 year old boys with real baseballs, it is refreshing to be able to turn your back and let them play catch with this softer version, without busting out someone's car window in the process.

C. C.: I first bought a 10.5 inch glove from rawlings for a 5 year old. He is a large 5 year old, so I went with the larger size vs the 9 inch. The first glove was nice but more rigid, and I could slip most of my hand in it. So I ordered this 9 inch glove. The glove states it is for 3 to 5 year old children. He can fit both gloves, but this one seems better as a starting glove, and it is easier for his 5 year old hands to close the glove on the ball. AND it came with a small tball made of pressed foam. I expect him to progress to the larger glove as he ages. The red 9 inch glove is not leather, and does not need to be oiled etc. The 10.5 inch glove has a leather palm, and does need to be oiled, etc. VERY happy with both gloves.

JMA: Mitt fine for 4-5 year-old t-ball beginners. Its soft, flexible, comes with a soft rubber/foam ball that is light and easy to grip - good ball for training a kid to catch and throw safely. That being said, the glove is made out of synthetic material (not leather) and not made for serious baseball use. Good value for a starter glove, but I don't expect it to survive and be used for more than this first introductory year of baseball for my son. He needed a glove for t-ball this year, and this fit the bill - it is what it is, just fine for low-impact activity, and it didn't cost much. If he wants to continue playing ball next year, I will get a higher-quality leather glove.
