Leigh: It was very easy to install and it works great. The only thing is that it should be clearer that you need to also turn on the sensor mode on the irrigation control panel. Good price and good product.

Jim: Recently bought a house with a 5 yr old ESP-Me with WR-2 control unit, but the rain/freeze sensor was missing. This sensor works perfectly with it. I didn't need the included control unit but this combo was cheaper than just the sensor, so I guess I have a spare for someday...

Tom ArnoldTom Arnold: We already had the Rainbird controller installed when I decided to add rain detection. There is just the sensor for $20, which I was going to get. That would have meant getting into the conduit and running wires from the gutter above our garage into the controller. I opt'd for the $99 wireless. You simply remove a jumper and add four wires internally to the controller. I had my son get on the ladder and he had to use ONE screw to lock the sensor onto the gutter - that was it. After the first rain, I opened the APP, and you can see the message I got. "Irrigation Suspended - Local Rain Detected". I checked a day or two later and the message was gone.. Back to Normal!!
