Amy: Gave perfect review because I loved it but returned for the orange colour.

Cathy: I really wanted to love this oil dispenser. It looked beautiful on my counter top & gave it a pop of color.
However, after some time had passed, I wanted to give it a good cleaning inside, as I know oils do go rancid eventually. It’s near impossible to clean thoroughly. For that, I’m only giving it 3 stars. Cute design, though.

Anil M.: A very attractive, solid-feeling dispenser. Oil flows out in a steady, smooth stream, with minimal dripping (although there is a little bit around the spout). Easy to grip and use while cooking, and gives great control.
The spout itself can get loose over time, but a thorough washing usually helps it adhere better. Filling it is a little bit of a pain - the curve of the bottle makes it impossible to just have it rest on a surface while you pour oil down the neck, unless you're operating from a very slender bottle of oil. It's much easier to fill with two people (one holding and one pouring). Finally, for all the heft of the product, it will break easily if dropped; partly this is the nature of stoneware, though, so it's hardly a surprise.
On the whole, definitely recommended.

Nik: I ordered this as a gift. It arrived before the estimated delivery time frame. The feedback I received is that the pouring spout is great and cuts off the flow quickly, avoiding drips and spills. Ergonomic design which makes it easy to handle. I personally would like it to be lighter as I found it unnecessarily heavy by itself, but since it was a gift I am not using it.

HebbieWebbie: A few things about this olive oil bottle:
It looks fantastic. It goes really well with my Italian-themed kitchen and allows me to leave it out instead of hiding it in my pantry. In use, it works better than almost any other olive oil bottle I've used. It does drip a tad, but usually only one single drop as the tiny lid is closing on the spout. It also pours out a lot faster than my old bottle, which I still haven't gotten used to. I like that feature, it just takes some adjustment. I was always frustrated with my old bottle as it came out ever so slowly.
It is a bit hard to fill, since I can't see the level of the olive oil until it's almost overflowing. I end up sort of guessing how much to put in, which works well enough; I just don't put in as much as it could hold, which leads me to filling it more often than I might need to. That doesn't really bother me, but it is something to be aware of. As far as the actual act of refilling it, it's very easy--just pop the nozzle out and go at it.
As olive oil bottles go, this is definitely a nice one that I plan on having for a long time!

Anna Covington: Years ago, my sister had an operation on her wrist due to tendonitis, which left her with minimal gripping ability. She likes to cook and uses olive oil in many of her dishes, but hanging onto a slippery, heavy glass bottle of olive oil with one hand while stirring with the other is often not physically possible for her (and could be dangerous, if dropped.) She saw the Rachel Ray Stoneware EVOO Oil Dispensing bottle one day when watching one of Rachel's cooking shows, but was reluctant to purchase the bottle at the time because the cost was too high. I recently spotted the same bottle (brand new) on Amazon.com in a vast array of colors, for an amazingly low price, so bought her one for Christmas. She knows she's getting it because I wanted to make sure to get it in the color she wanted, and she was over-the-moon happy with the gift! I had her try lifting and holding onto it when it arrived and the results could not have been better. Just what she needed! It's hard to tell from the picture, but this bottle is made from a light stoneware ceramic material and is heavily glazed in a pretty, shiny finish, inside and out, to keep the oil fresh and to keep the stoneware clean and...

Shelley: I had an oil can that I purchased from an expensive, well known store. The oil can was made by Curtis Stone and was EXPENSIVE. What a disaster. Because the top screwed off, and there was no cover on the sprout it leaked both from the screwed on area and from the spout. My counters always looked horrible. My husband bought me this to replace the other after I threw a fit for the hundredth time. WOW - this is a thrid of the pric. It's a far superior product. No leaking. I think it's perfect, beautiful and useful..... the most expensive is definately not always the best. I am buying three more; one for each of my daughters.

KMF: It's simple, it's good looking and it works! I am one of those cooks who pretty much believes all recipes start out with olive oil. I have used various wine bottles and cruets in the past and some worked fine, some took a few different spigots types to fit or the bottle oozed oil and got messy. Not an issue with RR's EVOO bottle.
It's comfortable, holds a healthy amount of oil and is easy to fill without spilling over the sides. (I filled using a large 3 quart jar, pouring directly from bottle to bottle with no problem!)
I am glad to have added another Rachael Ray product to my kitchen and have yet to find fault with any -- they are what they claim to be and do and look darn nice while doing it or waiting in your shelf for their next turn!
Thanks Rachael!
