Channing A.Channing A.: The media could not be loaded.  I love how it locks in moisture and leaves my skin feeling smooth and slight glowing. It’s so thick, it needs to be rubbed into palms first before applying to skin. It is solid and only needs to be used a little at a time or it’ll feel sticky. The container will split if dropped and seems to split easily around the rim because of removing the lid after while.

Cliente de Amazon: Si es muy hidratante, se necesita muy poquita cantidad, en mi caso estoy embarazada y lo aplico solo en mi panza y espalda, pero necesito muy poca cantidad, no se cuantos años vaya a necesitar para acabarme esta cantidad tan grande, lo que si es que el olor no es agradable, en mi caso a veces aplico otros aceites para intentar camuflar el olor, puede ser que lo sienta más fuerte por el embarazo, pero en general muy buen producto, no necesito calentarlo, tomo un poco con la cuchara, lo pongo en mi mano y floto un poco y listo!

Que es aproximadamente un 10% menos de lo prometido.
No es correcto, pero supongo que es aceptable.

El paquete que acabo de recibir era de 730 g.
Está siendo devuelto.
La única forma de cambiar lo que está haciendo esta empresa es devolver todos los paquetes con un peso inferior al 3 %.
Compré uno de los ladrillos de 5 lb en el mismo pedido y tiene menos del 3 % de peso inferior al normal.

Marque el producto correctamente o utilice una caja de cartón más grande y llénela por peso.

Sí, soy consciente de que la manteca de karité viene en diferentes colores y densidades, pero si pueden obtenerla dentro del 3 % para un bloque de 5 libras, debería ser posible con una caja de cartón de 2 libras.

Es muy aceitoso cuando se calienta (incluso con la temperatura de la propia mano).
El único detalle es que se supone que son 907 gramos, y en realidad pesa 820 gramos (más o menos).

Steph DollSteph Doll: This made a great base for my homemade body butter. It came packaged in 2 bags and weighed just over 3 lbs. I bought this because it was the best value with overall good reviews. This will make a lot of body butters and lotions. It is a nice ivory color with the typical earthy shea butter smell. After I whipped my body butter it was a nice white color that looked similar to Nivea body cream. Mine was pure and it didn't have any dirt, shells or other bits in it like some other users experienced. I will use it to make my face moisturizer for acne prone skin as well. I definitely recommend this product and will purchase it again.

Here is my body butter recipe if anyone is interested. I'm including links to the products I used.

1/2 cup shea butter
1/4 cup raw, unrefined coconut oil  Carrington Farms Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 54 Ounce
1/4 cup sweet almond oil (or another oil of your choice)  NOW solutions Sweet Almond Oil, Moisturizing Oil, 16 ounce
10-15 drops essential oil of your choice if you want it scented (I used lemon)  Now Foods Lemon Oil, 1 Ounce

Aaliyah: I bought 3lbs for $13! My friends said it felt more than 3lbs but I wont be sure. It was pretty heavy and the ups tracking said it was 3.2LBSThe shea was smooth and play-doh like; it made me want to play with it and mold it into something.

However the packaging is not ideal in my opinion. It came in a thick, clear plastic bag with a card on it in CAPS basically said "know how to use shea and strain it yourself". This bag was in a "thank you" bag you get from a Chinese food restaurant. and this was placed inside of a cardboard box.

The shea itself was in three or four large chunk pieces and then filled with smaller bits and crumbles :/ this made it difficult to scoop all the shea out and put it in containers. But I tried to get most of it our the bag then I put it in containers and popped it in the microwave to soften it more to stir it.
Now the bag had tons of shea butter stuck to the bag :/ what a waste! but I decided to shower then turn the bag inside-out and rub the bag on my body (lol). and was able to fully condition and moisturize my self from head to toe with just the bag

The shea itself seems to be pure shea butter. My boyfriend and brother said it...
