brian: Little skeptical at first because my ac unit is so big it barely fits in the window . However this stand fits perfect and supports all the weight didn't add if any height to my a.c .

Hai and Terrie: I love the double arms. gives me extra confidence that this will hold my AC unit. I'm using this with a 8000 BTU unit that weights about 65 lbs. it holds it with no problems. really easy to set up, just look at a picture and I figured it out. feels nice and heavy duty
