Not poppin here!: I had to slice the tip so the pill would fit in it. Other than that it’s works for my cats. They are the worst to give pills!!

R. C. Jones: Much easier on our cat and no more punctures from sharp teeth. Able to deliver medication to the back of the mouth, making it easier for her to swallow. The one bad thing is the plastic tips don’t last very long. Will need to see if replacement tips are available.

Becky Jones: One of my cats is difficult to pill and has to have one small pill every day. Most pill guns seem to be made for larger pills, but this one is the right size. I had bought this same pill gun a couple of years ago or so, and on the older version one of the two tips had a slit so it could also be used with capsules. I wanted that because sometimes the pharmacy gives capsules, sometimes pills. This time when I bought it, neither of the two tips has a slit, which means capsules just get stuck. It does work great as long as I have pills though, so I am now sure to specify that I will only accept pills from the pharmacy. So as long as you're looking to use this with relatively small pills, you will like this pill gun, it definitely gets the job done.

Alyson: This thing got me through my cat's treatment. Easy to use and I was able to administer pills without a problem.

The silicone is a little hard to get off the end to clean, but that's really my only criticism of the product.

LVLV: La prise "ciseau" est particulièrement utile. L'embout juste assez long, laissant une bonne profondeur pour y introduire le comprimé. Contrairement à celui acheter chez le vétérinaire (blanc et turquoise)qui est vraiment trop long, mais avec un embout trop court. Je dois donner 2 comprimés par jour à mon chat et ce pistolet facilite grandement l'opération.

K. White: This works okay for the price, but we got two of the same tips instead of one of each. Both of the tips we got are for liquid only, there were none for pills - which is what we needed. We were hoping they could send us a tip for pills, but we'd have to return the whole thing and wait for a replacement. We decided to make cuts in one of the tips so it would work.

Amazon Customer: I had ordered this pill shooter for cat medications. However, the soft tip is too small for larger pills as it split as soon as I tried to put the pill in the dispenser.

Terra: I read some reviews that the rubber tip might come off or has come off in the mouth when giving medication. When I received the item I put a dot of gorilla glue on the shaft and inserted the rubber tip. It is solid. I only did this because I don’t need 2 tips. I just needed 1 for the pills not liquid. I did the glue only to prevent anything that might happen. Just an idea for those that are cautious like me. Other than that I don’t have any issues and it works for me. Oh and the pill tip is cut on the sides to accommodate pill sizes. It’s meant to be there. Just an FYI.
