MCMC: Good lights and are bright. Purchased 04/2020 and after about 2 years started to loose some light panels.

Davetheliontamer: I bought this not as a garage light but for illumination about a modelling work-bench and its like having the sun above you, intense white light so perfect for illuminating every inch of my work surface with no shadows or dark spots, the adjustable wings are brilliant as I can angle one to illuminate the wall where all my paints, glues etc are kept and still provides ample clear light for the most intricate of jobs
It was bought in 2020 and is still going strong in 2022 and is fitted in a standard desk lamp.

Amazon Customer: Promising product and great light emissions, but 6 months in 2 of the 3 elements have failed on both units I purchased. They oy get occasional use in the garage so very disappointed with the robustness of the led arrays in this product

Carl Thomas: This bulb is super bright and dwarfs all he other bulbs in the area. I think what i like best about it is that it's full brightness as soon as you turn it on. I use it in my garage and the other bulbs in the area are ones that have to warm up to get to full brightness. My space is 30x40 and this bulbs lights up a good 1/4 to a 1/3 of the space, to cover most of that area I would say you need at least two of them. Longevity is an unknown at the moment so hoping the value for cost is justified.

DPDP: Really lights up the attic & so simple 2 install! Haven't had it long enough to judge reliability, but reassured by the ETL certification. I'm clearing out an old house with only 1 light fixture in the attic, & I'm no electrician. I thought it would be awesome if someone made a multi-head LED fixture that screws in in place of a bulb. Like magic, here it is! Makes it so much easier to work in the attic, & I need any edge I can get with the heat and limited headroom! Delivered quickly as promised so it was in place when the movers came for large items. Thank you!

Stanley Lessig: When we began experiencing problems with our fluorescent lights failing to turn on, I had an electrician come out to check the wiring and ballasts. All four of the fixtures were failing because they were all hooked together by extension cords plugged into two lightbulb sockets. The electrician mention these LED lights he had seen on Amazon and thought they would be a sufficient replacement. I took down all four ballast and screwed in two of these LED tri-panel lights. The lit up my two-car garage better than the fluorescents had. The adjustable panel allowed me to tilt individual panels as desired to throw light into every corner of the garage. The only concern I have is the heat they generate. Since the fixtures are screwed into ceiling sockets, tilting the aluminum panels too far up puts them in close proximity to the ceiling. The product warns not to leave the lights on more than 8 hours. I wouldn’t typically have them on for more than a few minutes. But “we” have forgotten to turn off garage lights in the past, and they have been on overnight. Just try to avoid doing that and you should have no issues with these lights. The price was nice too!

AdamAdam: I'm giving this one a definite 5 star review. I ordered 2 of these on christmas evening. They were delivered sunday the 29th. A1 for delivery. I installed them over 1 bay of my garage, which the light fixtures are nearly 14 feet from the floor, and these are BRIGHT I got the 60w daylight version of these lights amd I am certainly not disappointed. I would certainly pay full price for these. (As I purchased them when they were on sale). I plan on purchasing 2 more once the Camaro leaves its hibernating spot in the other bay.

Jackie H.: The light output is great, making adjustments is easy, and it only takes seconds to install. My garage light is between two firewalls, where one actually blocks a lot of light from hitting other parts of my garage, so having the 3 segments all independently adjustable allowed me to direct light where I needed it. Overall great product with a quality feel. I'm likely going to order another to put into my utility / storage room in the basement.

I did not rate the motion detection feature, as I did not order the one with motion detection built in. I will say, however, that the non-motion detection bulb will NOT work with a motion detection wall switch. If you use a motion detection switch with this light, the light will always stay on, but at a low power and low light. This is something you'd see with almost any LED on the market though, because of the low voltage they need to run. With that said, if you want motion detection, just order the bulb with it built in instead of messing with a wall switch.

When I order another bulb for my utility / storage room, I'm likely going to order the motion detection version and install that in the garage,...

RG0647: The intended use was for lighting a 20'x20' enclosed tightly packed utility area of the house (furnace, air conditioning, hot water tank, etc.). The area has always been somewhat dark when the service technicians came. Now there is no more need for supplemental light to work in this area, actually it is so bright you almost need sunglasses. After arranging the three fold able LED wings I got the area saturated with light to just the perfect level for the technicians to work. Installation is the same as screwing in a conventional light bulb. The only other installation is to adjust, by hand, the LED wings, up or down, to provide the illumination to the areas you want. Pretty simple. Be cautious looking at the light, the LEDs are very bright! I will order a couple more for the garage, this is much better light than the multiple 40 watt fluorescent lights I currently have in the garage.
