My phone screen stopped functioning due to water damage (went black and the touchscreen was unresponsive) and this helped me transfer then delete all of my data from the old phone. I used all 3 ports at the same time. The video was a bit laggy but it worked well for what I needed:
- HDMI to view the phone screen on the TV
- USB for a mouse to navigate the screen/functions
- USB-C to connect the new phone to transfer all my data

Works as expected, and is a good value, but keep in mind the connection is short, and with a hdmi cable and other connections connected it will put allot of pressure on your phones usb port, which could be damaging, and at the very least is inconvenient. I tried several extenders and none of them seem to work with this product. Overall I do recommend this product is you plan on keeping your device very stationary while using.

Lo compré para conectar mi laptop a una pantalla de escritorio, siempre está fijo y aún así ya no sirve, a la semana ya no cargaba la compu lo cuál es fácil de solucionar porque tiene otro puerto, pero ahora sí la pantalla de plano parpadea, a veces se apaga y tiene ruido. No lo recomiendo nada.

Funciona en lo que lo conectes desde tabletas a celulares, es pequeño y de un material muy bueno, me gustó mucho para lo que me costó en la escuela en proyectores y para un mouse igual, para cargar sirve de todo

Me resolvió de manera fácil el conectar HDMI a proyector. No se ha calientado hasta el momento, después de varios meses de uso sigue funcionando.

I wanted to free up one of the 3 usb ports on my Dell XPS 15 laptop so I purchased this so I could power my laptop, as well as have another USB port but only use up a single usb port on my laptop. The USB port works with a USB powered hub I have, but the power port does not pass the power to my laptop to charge the battery, nor will it pass any data (It appears to apparently be a dead port). I didn't try the HDMI port on the adapter since I have one of the usb ports of my PC going to a KVM switch that gets the hdmi directly from the usb c port. The USB port on this adapter will not work with my KVM switch (won't even pass the usb data signals, nor power my usb keyboard or mouse).
