Dalavn: Everything came perfectly and cutely packaged in a little box. My bird Soren is taking awhile to figure out how to drop it over the stick but he’s gotten it a few times alone. When he gets frustrated, he does bite. And he’s a little black-capped so bird owners, you know how parrot beaks can be like. I was worried he’d break it and get little plastic pieces in his mouth, but surprisingly, he hasn’t broken it. I would not recommend these for anything larger such as a sun or macaw obviously since I think these will be no problem for them to break easily. Soren has only barely chipped/bent a few when frustrated but that’s when I take it away to prevent further biting/chipping. Your birds should be supervised with these.

Billy: Good. I put a little tape on the base so it wouldn't move so much. The wood is very light. My bird has chewed up most of the stick but he loves chewy and that's kind of the point. He's great at taking the rings of but doesn't have any interest in putting them back on. He takes then off and drops them off my bookshelf. He loves watching things fall.

Hil: We received this yesterday, and the assembly was easy. Just make sure you bang the post into the base before you try to attach the hoop! They made little marks where the screw holes are, so make sure those are lined up in front before you bang the post into the base, or you'll have a hard time attaching the hoop (there are no directions included). Overall, it is sturdy and looks like it will work really well! It comes with three balls. One is a shiny gold mesh (this interested our Senegal), and two are like tiny wiffle balls with rattles inside (he was also curious about these).. I have only shown him the hoop and balls so far, because he takes some time to warm up to stuff, but I can't wait to start training! Have fun!

MJMJ: My cockatiel still loves this toy. I still love this toy, but only under direct supervision.
I had several bird toys out on my bed as we spent an afternoon just hanging out. This is one of his favorite toys & one of the least expensive.
He likes to remove the rings from the stand & manipulate them with his beak , tongue & feet. He’ll do it over & over .
After awhile he returned to his cage to go to sleep, on his own. As I was covering his cage for the night I noticed the yellow ring around his neck😳Thank goodness I saw it before it got caught up on something! He was trying to get it off. . Pics included.
It must have flipped over his head while it was in his beak.
I will still let him play with it, BUT ONLY WHEN HE HAS MY UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. I WILL even buy more , but like a kid on a trampoline, you have to supervise them closely with this particular toy.
