Autumn J: This works exactly as expected and fits my dvd player perfectly. I like how this one has an elbow right where you plug it in so it doesn't stick straight out from the dvd player. I've used it in the car and home without issues. There is a red light on the outlet to show that it's getting power. Happy I found this after losing the original.

June Toney: First, I loved that the description included product I.D. numbers so you know you're getting the adapter for your particular DVD player. My daughter owns a Sony portable DVD player that, due to her laptop capabilities, she hadn't used in 4 yrs. I decided I'd like to use it to do Tai Chi/Qigong in our backyard. However, we couldn't find the power cord so I bought a universal power cord from a Superstore. When it failed to work, I assumed the 6 year old DVD Player had somehow become damaged from lack of use. I read a review on Amazon stating this charger worked wonders for someone with a similar portable DVD player as ours, so I thought I'd give it one last try before throwing the "broken" DVD Player out. Upon arrival, I plugged the charger into the DVD player just as I'd done with the universal charger from the Superstore. I WAS STUNNED at how quickly & flawlessly the DVD screen instantly came to life!!! I am so thrilled that I tried this product, it saved me from throwing away a perfectly useful Sony Portable DVD player!!

jcost: To begin, I had ordered the portable DVD player and misunderstood it was used. After the first use, we noticed it had a faulty adapter and was not taking a charge. I had contacted Amazon with my concern. After not hearing back, three months had gone by and we used the DVD again and it would not work due to the charge. I contacted Amazon again referencing my first email. Although the time frame had expired for a rebate, being I had include my first email, which was prior the deadline, they honored my concern and sent me a $20.00 credit to buy a new adapter and sent me the link to purchase. I was very happy with this service. The adapter was new and has worked perfectly each time without any wearing.
