The cats love the variety pack as I'm constantly changing what they get. They walk all over me in the morning to get up and feed them. The formula of the food is quite healthy. I found the price reasonable.

I know this has wheat gluten in it. I bought it by mistake too and amazon hooked me up w a refund. I ended up just trying it out to see if my cats would like it. They do! I alternate it with the grain free pate version. I also give them a high quality kibble. My 2 cats (2yrs & 8yrs) have beautiful shiny silky coats, no digestive issues from eating this food (one has a very sensitive stomach), no loose stools or vomitting, no weight issues and are in great health. I usually split the can between the two cats over two days every few days. Would I soley feed this to them? Probably not but they seem to enjoy it. I'm happy with the food and will definitely buy again. It's a real luxury to be so picky with your cat food choices. I have had similar cheaper versions of this style of food make my sensitive older cat vomit uncontrollably and require a trip to the vet to settle her stomach. I don't believe this food is as bad as some people are making it out to be.

My little adopted fella is missing 3 teeth. He makes a mess, he likes to paw food off the dish, wet and dry, and eat off the floor, I since have put his food on kitchen counter. So it's easier to clean up the counter. And he's a dipper. Drinks out of running faucets and gets soaked in process. He also paws at the water and licks it off the paw. We all have quirky creatures, and they do weird stuff, but this guy is craziest one I've been blessed with. BUT, all that said above. He loves this salmon catfish blend, licks the gravy/sauce first, then the bits of fish, not as messy as usual, which is less waste, and I'll buy full cases of this until he demands something else by not taking to it anymore.
