Lefty219: I usually feed my dog Purina One, Healthy Weight, because he is the ultimate couch potato. Unfortunately, since that has a low fat content, his skin became dry and he seemed to be shedding more than usual, which was a lot to begin with.
I have him on this now, hoping for skin and coat improvement. He’s eaten more than half of the 31.1 lbs. I do think there is improvement, but I’m hoping for more. Now the problem is portion control and weight management.
My next move is to mix the food, so that he gets 50% Healthy Weight and 50% Skin and Coat (this product). I also plan to add Vitamin E. I did that in the past for a dog with the same issues, who actually had bare patched just in front of her tail. That seemed to work well.
I may go back to feeding this dog the Healthy Weight formula, supplemented with a daily Vitamin E capsule.

Kindle Customer: I have used Purina Pro Plan Sensitive formula for years and am well pleased with it. Since the cost has gone up and I am no longer breeding, I dropped to Purina One for the cost.
I am a big believer in the Purina One and Pro Plan formulas for the health of the dog.

Trisha: I have one dog that has VERY sensitive skin and stomach problems. So I switched the food in my house to this Purina One Sensitive skin food and her skin has done so much better along with bathing more frequently. The combination of the food and cleaning her has cleared up her skin and she fur started growing back. She went from looking miserable and lethargic before the dog food change to my 9year.old.dog is now playing with my 6 year old dog like she thinks she is a puppy again. It's an amazing difference and all four of my dogs seem to enjoy this dog food. Yes it was a combination of the dog food and bathes but sometimes it takes more than one thing to repair problems. What matters is that she feels and looks great because of changes inside and out.
