Midwesterner: This is an excellent towel. I bought it for camping, but it's because my everyday towel. But the box, the towel, and all the packaging was saturated with perfume when it arrived. Needed two washings to get the perfume out of it.

L Fitz: Love how fast these dry, and how the waffle pattern in the linen gives just the right amount of light abrasion to feel like you are cleaning the day off your skin... but wish they were a bit larger, 12” x 12” rather than 10” X 10” would work better.

Gonzales: I have never used pure linen towels before, and after buying one for my hair, I went back and basically bought enough bath sheets, towels, and washcloths to replace my old stuff. They not only dry my body and hair quickly, but they themselves dry out quickly after use. I throw them in a mesh bag to put in the laundry (and to remind my elderly mother not to put them in the dryer). And they take up way less space in the linen cabinet! I don't know how they will hold up over time since I have only had them a few months, but I suspect with proper care these will be around a long time.

They do make quite a bit of lint for the first several washings. I did wash and then run through the dryer on low for a few minutes about half a dozen times when I first got them. They also wrinkle a lot, and if that annoys you, iron while they are just barely wet and the wrinkles fall out very easily.

Now I'm trying to find out which of my family/friends likes a towel that is a bit on the rough side so I can order for Christmas!

Sarah Stephanie: These are amazing for someone that has bought linen from cb2 .. Joss & Main .. West elm.. Burke decor .. Pottery barn… Urban outfitters.. Magnolia.. Lulu and Georgia.. Indigo Traders…I couldn’t find this pattern I was seeking so I took the plunge and went ahead and ordered an (overly priced item) you know I usually don’t carry high expectations from Amazon . But they’re pricing matches the quality . And I am so happy with my purchase . I’m overly excited how you can hang them securely.
Quality of the item is exceptional.
FYI *for people that don’t know how to care for an item . Please…google is your best friend.

The best way to dry any linen garment is natural air-dry (hang dry);
If you choose to dry your linen clothes or sheets in a dryer - pull them out while they are still damp and let them finish drying up naturally by hanging them in the fresh air or laying them out on a flat surface;
Wash and dry linen garments, especially bigger ones - like curtains, sheets, and tablecloths - individually to let them move freely;
Linen fabric dries very fast - it is known as the fastest drying natural fabric. Therefore, even if you choose to air-dry...

Quinn: The classy packaging on this product was eco-friendly and showed the company produces a quality product. The towels are awesome but do take some getting used to as the experience is much different from standard towels. It has a gentle exfoliating massage feel when drying and absorbs very quickly and completely. The towels are very thin and lightweight so they dry quickly and do not smell. Very happy that we took the chance on these towels. No regrets!

SG: I went for the largest and it is extremely versatile.

Great as a blanket in summer when it's too hot for a duvet.

Great for camping, I fold it in half and use it as a blanket/towel. Especially great as despite it's size it packs/folds down very well.

I took a fair few washes to soften it up but even with my eczema (severe) it's still my fave towel.

It was pricey but worth it.

Germaine Koh: They are indeed lightweight and would be good for gym and outside use. Unfortunately, I had wanted bath towels for home use which was not what I had wanted in these flax linen towels. Still will be useful for sports use as they are really nice and light. Would be easy to pack and they do dry fast. Just not for the purpose I had wanted them for. Had wanted thicker flax linen bath towels for home use.
