James: I looked for information about the size of the base to see if it would fit my fan. I did not see any. The light kit looked like the right size but unfortunately is not so had to be returned. It is a good product but not the correct size.

alal: So it was too small for my fan assembly. The directions talk about taking all this stuff apart, not needed. Very poor instructions!... see photo, that's all you get! It may need to go back

G Money: My old ceiling fan light was starting to flicker on on bulb, so there was a short in it somewhere. Very hard to find a 4 light replacement. This one fit perfect even though it's a different brand than my ceiling fan. It was very easy to install & works great. Even came with the glass shades & LED bulbs (which I hate & won't be using). Great product for the price, I'm glad I found it!

Lj: Provides very bright lighting in an otherwise dark area, open concept livingroom/kitchen to be specific. Installation needed some tweaking, but went very well. Looks great, too!

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Overall I thought this was a good light kit. I bought for use with a Hunter brand fan. Metal color is a perfect match. Comes with an extra light pull, light bulbs, and globes. I like that it came all together. Inside wires have the easy plugs to connect to black/blue and white, but unfortunately they didn’t marry with my existing plugs. It wasn’t a huge issue to pull one off and feed the wire through the one from my previous light kit, but it’s definitely extra steps and a bit of a hassle. The biggest downside is that it hangs lower than my previous light kit by almost 4.5 inches. My ceilings are already on the low side, so I don’t care to loose any more headroom to fixtures. Also, it just looks kind of weird and stretched outside. I don’t think it’s awful, but it does look different/odd and I’m thinking I’ll need to replace it because it’s bugging me. I included the pic so you can see how much lower the light housing is from the fan. (previous light kit butted up right against the center of fan) To be determined if I will keep it, but I love the rest of the product.
