Professional 26-Inch Rosewood Paisen Concert Ukulele

Naiby: I got this ukulele as a gift and firstly, it is very beautiful. I was so intrigued by the design itself, I actually did some research into it and found out it’s a Siamese fighting fish. This design really makes the ukulele stand out from others. Secondly, the product is made of very good quality. The grains of the rosewood are so pretty to look at. It also has a very good finishing without any flaws to the product itself. Sidenote: the ukulele looks so much prettier in person. As for sound quality, I am not a professional ukulele player so I can’t provide the best insights. But overall, once I tuned the ukulele, it sounded so crisp and beautiful. It sounds ten times better than the ukulele I currently own and I love how it has that defined sound quality to it. You could try out other strings to see how it changes the sound quality but I personally would stick to the nylon ones they provided. To add on, the customer service was spot on. Ukes are fun!: I got this Uke on a Lightning deal, and just love the looks of it, with the ‘artwork’ on the body. It’s a true conversation piece, trying to figure out if it’s a bird or what it is. The sound is crisp and remarkably... it stays in tune! I ordered another brand and am constantly tuning it. Perhaps it’s the Aquila strings, but it’s a pleasure not to have to crank on the C string and retune 5 times a day with. The included goodies are quite nice. Capo is kinda flimsy, but does the trick. The tuner is top notch, again.. better than the one I got with my other Uke. The frets have sharp edges, but that seems to be common. Plays nicely and looks awesome on the wall.

RaymanRayman: The media could not be loaded.  Although this is the perfect instrument and bundle for a beginner, I found this ukulele an absolute pleasure to play. The setup was flawless! Perfect fret job, super comfortable action, great sound and excellent tuners! And let’s not forget, it’s absolutely gorgeous to look at! If you are looking at purchasing your first ukulele or adding to your collection, this is a great purchase! AnuAnu: This ukelele actually arrived three days after I placed the order . Much quiker than I anticipated . It has a beautiful finish . After tuning it , it sounded very good . For the price , this is a quality item . It has strap buttons ,really nice straps at a very reasonable price . The built in tuner ( acoustic / electric model ) is spot on for tuning . It turns green when in tune . It comes with a nice cleaning / polishing cloth , one plastic pick and one felt pick . Extra strings are supplied and fit through the body and to me this system will make re-stringing easier . There are tutorials on youtube regarding this .The nut and saddle are bone , not cheap plastic . It even comes with two batteries for the tuner . All in all , a very nice entry level uke at a very reasonable price that catches the eye and sounds good acoustically or through an amp . I like it and recommend it highly . Oh yeah one last thing , the instruction are well translated and includes a chord chart and some songs , and it was very well packaged .

LaughandliveLaughandlive: I purchase this Ukulele and liked it so much that I bought two more as Christmas present's for my grandkid's. The packaged deal delivered to my door cannot be beaten. Extra strings, picks, tuner, strap, small book with a chord chart. The product is a quality instrument, better than some others that I have paid much more money for. Bright rich sound and a unique design. It accommodates my fat fingers but could also be used by a smaller person. I tuned it with the new tuner that came in the packaged deal and it had not gone out of tune when I picked it up days later. The product arrived quick and well packaged. I would give this unit more than 5 stars if I could and would definitely recommend this Ukulele for the beginner as well as the advanced player.

Grace: The media could not be loaded.  First of all, I got this way earlier than I expected! It was such a wonderful surprise! I have been looking for a darker wood ukelele that does not break the bank and this seems to fit the bill! When I opened the box, the ukelele was in a nice gig bag with embroidered Paisen logo on it. It has large enough front pocket to put in all the extra accessories the uke came with. It has some padding to protect the uke. And it also has side and back straps to give you options on how you’d like to carry your uke. It came with a ton of accessories. A tuner, a nice strap, extra strings, pick, capo, and a booklet on how to play the uke. They literally give you everything you need to play the ukelele. The ukelele is beautiful and unique! I love the dark, rich color. The sound hole is so unique! The design of the binding also adds to its beauty! I was happy that it already has strap buttons installed! That will make playing more comfortable. The fret wires are nicely dressed. No sharp frets up and down the fret board. The chrome closed gear tuners are very classy. The action on the first fret is 1mm and 3mm on the 12th fret. So, that’s really good...

CoriCori: I have wanted to learn Ukulele for years, but could never bring myself to actually make the leap due to other commitments. Lately, this had been bothering me more and I decided it was time to take the leap. So my research began. I used to play guitar years ago, so had an idea of what I was looking for. I'm quite tall so I didn't want a tiny soprano ukulele. It had to be a tenor. I wanted a uke that was good quality and value and after browsing Amazon I stumbled upon the Paisen Tenor Ukulele. I was initially drawn to how beautiful it is. I've always loved the look of Ovation guitars and this is similar to that look with the unique offset sound holes. I also liked that this was a part of a solid starter kit - ukulele, strings, tuner, capo, strap, case, book, and picks. Those things add up fast when you are just starting out with any instrument. I read the reviews here and watched some of the videos on YouTube and I knew I had found the uke for me.

I haven't had a lot of time to play it yet, but I am already enjoying it immensely. It was easy to tune and the action is just perfect - making it an easy instrument to learn on . The ukulele is a rosewood beauty with some thought...

Brian K. MillerBrian K. Miller: Like many ukulele fans, I have a habit of collecting interesting ukuleles. I was very pleased when the Paisen Tenor ukulele arrived. I paid $89.95, a very low sum for a tenor ukulele, so I was not expecting much. Opening the box was one of the most pleasant surprises I have experienced in a long time. The case was mildly padded and includes two adjustable straps. The package included extra strings, a capo, a tuner, a beginners book, and a pair of picks. The instrument itself was very well made. The frets are smooth as silk, no jagged edges or overhang or any of the myriad of problems that can even be found from time-to-time in far more expensive brands. The wood grain is beautiful, the off-center sound hole is loud and bright. The decorations around the sound hole are very pretty and made from solid wood. Even the binding is a fascinating checkerboard pattern of real wood.

There is no finer ukulele in this price range anywhere on the planet. I have traveled enough, been to enough ukulele shows and gatherings, and handled enough instruments to know this for a fact. For $90 you cannot buy a better made, more pleasing sounding ukulele.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This is a beautiful uke, especially for the price! I own about 10 ukes some high end and some really low but I gotta say some sometimes these low end hit the mark pretty good! This thing holds tune better than a few of my higher end ukes. The action is good. The sound rings out. Comes with some great accessories as well. The gig bag is cool but not really thick enuff to protect i.e a overhead bin on a plane. Just carrying around to the park or something; cool. Better than none. Great uke no matter your style or where U are in your musical journey! My only two issues are I thought it was I ordered a tenor size and seemed like a concert size when it arrived
(see pic with 3 ukes; smaller one concert) but it's as tall as a tenor but much smaller body.

Hector CruzHector Cruz: The good: The Paisen Tenor Ukulele is very well made with attention to detail. The package is an outstanding value! Everything is in New Condition. It was almost in tune right out of the bag. Fret placement held proper intonation across most of the fretboard. The action is very low, so it is very easy to play. Nice, well padded gig bag. (See, "The bad".) Came with a nice set of accessories too!
The bad: The "outside box" was a little dented - enough to make me wory. Only one sheet of paper was used between the outside box (fairly big size compared to the ukulele box), and the ukulele box. The ukulele box seemed like it had been mishandled, and taped shut (at least two times). FORTUNATELY, the gig bag is very well cushioned, and the ukulele did not suffer any damage whatsoever! The booklet is hard to read. It seems like it has useful information for beginners, but it appears to have been translated word-for-word from another language. (The sintax is wrong for the English language, and the wrong word translation was used extensively. I was unable to get the gist for most of it.)
