Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I had no problems with this product, even as a complete amateur, inexperienced with epoxy. It was easy to use. Seems to be great value for what you get

Locoz31: The media could not be loaded.  I've never used an epoxy pour before, this was my first time using anything like this. The wife wanted me to sand down and seal our kitchen table, it had a heavy wood grain, food and crumbs would get stuck in the crevices of the grain making it difficult to keep clean, so I figured I would sand it down, re-stain it and seal it with a nice thick epoxy coat.

I figured I was going to spend some money on this project, might as well spruce it up a bit and try to make it more special but keeping it simple. I love film photography so I got the idea to print out some Fuji instant prints and encase them in the epoxy. I sprayed them with an aerosol can of acrylic sealer to prevent yellowing and hot glued them to the table, also a bit of glitter and a few fake leaves. I had a pack of Christmas led lights and drilled holes the same diameter and hot glued them in from the bottom.

The product worked well, I followed the instructions and everything went smoothly, you just have to remember to have the surface level. It spread easily. I layed one coat, waited 6 hours then a second coat while the surface was still tacky. The results are great, I...

Jake: For first time users, I would highly recommend mixing small amounts and trying little jobs. The product can produce amazing results BUT has many nuances. This is my 2nd kit (and was substantially better than the first from a different manufacturer).

I used the product in a cool garage - 55-60f so realize my comments relate to THIS TEMPERATURE. This is a big deal as the viscosity changes dramatically based on temp. If you're using this in the summer in Phoenix in your garage with the door open, this will flow like water!

Viscosity will dictate 1) how this flows and if not properly contained completely, how quickly it drips out 2) how it traps bubbles and how thick you can/should pour it 3) if it will level itself out or not. There is NO optimal temperature as you need to figure out how to use it and then decide what works best for your application.

I needed a build up to about 1" in certain areas of my project. I took 4-5 applications to get it there based on temp and bubble trap. To that, adding epoxy in layers is super easy, takes no prep other than keeping to clean and then pouring again within 24-36hrs. In fact, I routinely needed to sand edges off based on...

Natisha: WOWOWOW came out better than i could have ever imagines smooth self leveling and no bubbles and hard as a rock VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FROM PROFESSIONALS ON YOUTUBE can be very helpful and save you from ruining your own DIY and save you from wasting a lot of product! Im a 26 year old woman and i found this to be so easy to maneuver with by myself although a hand is always a nice touch and the working time was a little stressful but i watched so many videos and decided along the line of what i might have wanted and executed with precision in a timely manner and followed most steps i wish i was more consistent with wiping away drips while wet due to having to cut off drip from the botting of the counter but everything else PERFECTION! ill be careful to not do nothing too crazy untill i get the untimate gloss finish to cover my perfect work ill be back with a photo so oyu can see my finished results!

nyeent: I decided to try this brand to see how it performs and I liked the results. I only did thin pours of about 1/2", with colours added as an accent and I was very pleased.
There was a right balance of working time and ease of pouring. I did not use any vacuum pot or heat to remove bubbles but there were not any significant or easily noticeable bubbles. Being that this was a relatively thin pour, bubbles should not be an issue anyway.
I admit that I am new to resin pours but by measuring accurately, I was able to achieve an end product that I am proud of.
Photos to follow.

Michelle BeaudryMichelle Beaudry: I have never used, or worked with epoxy. I decided to give this a shot after doing a lot of research, and watching videos on how to apply epoxy (I was looking to refinish my bathroom vanity). When choosing the epoxy, I read alot of the reviews. I settled on this one, and I am glad I did! It turned out beautiful- and I would like to describe my process to give guidance to others.
1- The below supplies are what I obtained for the epoxy countertop- ALL of which I got at the dollar store!
- latex gloves
- 1 cup plastic measuring cup (x2)
- 2L food storage container (the ones for watermelon slices with the lid, but didn't use the lid)
- 2" paint brush
- 9'x12' plastic drop sheet (x2)
- sandpaper(100grit)
- masking tape
- paint mixing stick
After sanding, cleaning the countertop and repainting it (regular white paint) and letting it completely dry overnight- I taped my plastic drop sheet first to the floor, up the side of the vanity, and then took the other drop sheet, and taped it under the counter and let it drape to the floor over the other drop sheet. Make sure you have ALL your supplies on hand before starting, including paper towels. Here comes the...

Jason BauzáJason Bauzá: First, for those who want a quick review... This product is fantastic. Cures hard and crystal clear. Definitely would buy again. No regrets.

For those who want an in depth... I bought the one gallon quantity of resin. I had enough to finish my 2-tier domino table and had some left over. My first pour was perfect. The second, not so much. It was totally my fault, so here are some tips.

First, make sure whatever you pour over is sealed. I had a poster of the Puerto Rican flag for the top layer of my table. I glued the poster to the table with 3M spray glue. When the glue dried, I then covered the entire poster in Modge Podge glue...twice. Modge Podge glue dries perfectly clear without affecting the color of the ink in the poster. After the Modge Podge was dry, I gathered my supplies. You will need a propane torch, level, paint brush, clean mixing container, clean spoon to mix with, and acetone (for clean-up). Also, my work had holes in it that I had to "dam" up so the resin would not all leak out. I used duct tape on the bottom of the table as I did not care if it was embedded in the resin because you will not be able to see it.

Make sure your work is level. The...
