Amazon Customer: The size of this press is perfect for one or two people. I have had it (and used it everyday) for a couple of months now and it seems to be holding up well. My only complaint is that it spits grounds out sometimes when pressing it down. I have noticed that it does this no matter how hard or lightly you press.

G. Escobedo: I am surprised how much I like this press-pot. I have used it for a month now and it makes the perfect amount of coffee for me, 24 oz., and the pot keeps the coffee hot into my 2nd and/or 3rd cup... the only thing I don't like is the tint of blue used in the plastic of the handle/carafe holder... :)

SageSage: I love the vibrant colours of this french press! It brightens up my morning. It seems to be fairly well made for the price. The glass beaker is thick and seems sturdy. No stray coffee grounds made it past the filter into my coffee.

The one flaw I have noticed is that the glass beaker separates from the plastic holder very easily. I gently turned it over to clean/dump out the coffee grounds and the glass beaker immediately slipped out. If I hadn't caught it it would have fallen and likely broken. This is especially strange because the bottom of the plastic holder has a warning that states: "CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE GLASS FROM PLASTIC" .....well I didn't have to attempt. It just falls out on its own.

kayshia: For the look, it's super cute and looks exactly like pictures (I took the pink one). It is indeed easy to use as the steps are described. Only reason I removed 1 star is because there's still a small amount of deposit that goes into your mug but at least it sticks to the bottom, it's well filtered as you drink it. Maybe it's also the coffee I used I don't know, I'm not a coffee pro I just drink it here and there☺️ so this is perfect and 20$ is a good price I find!

Sin embargo, le veo 3 puntos en contra: la base no cubre el cristal de la jarra, es decir hay un anillo del material plástico, pero el cristal queda al descubierto en un 90% en la parte inferior, haciéndolo más frágil cuando se lava o manipula. Otro error grave de diseño es que la tapa superior no tiene un orificio que funcione como filtro final antes de servir el café en la taza. Se abre en una parte y hay pared en el 80% de la circunferencia... falla terrible. Otra cosa notable, es que el pistón no baja totalmente. ¿No se supone que es una PRENSA FRANCESA? ¿para "prensar" el café? jjajaa! Son errores de diseño industrial a mi consideración.... pero bueno, FUNCIONA. La compré con un crédito de $100 así que estuvo bien la compra.
