Its superior build quality and efficiency make it one of the best Camping Saws available.marty hallman: I've had a couple of these limb saws use it for hunting. I have used them all and these are by far the best

Jeff S: Easy to use, very sharp, light weight, well made carrying case, blade locks in place easily, decent buy

D S: The blade is so short that it's way too much work to cut through anything but small-diameter logs. The blade is sharp enough but a piece of plastic broke from the handle. After two trips, I got an aluminum folding bow saw. Do yourself a favour and do the same.

Matt Spurrell: The blade started to come loose after my third or fourth field use but I got what I paid for. Its still usable and gets the job done.

GnU: Great little saw for camping. Blade doesn’t wobble about when sawing with it. Nice and light weight.
Cons:
Holder doesn’t really fit well and the Velcro flap is useless. I would suggest heavy duty snaps.
Sharping will prove difficult because the teeth angles meet at a point on the blade.

Brenden: I tried this out camping to gather fire wood. I found it very easy to cut through branches a couple inches thick. The big challenge was a log approx 9 inches thick - the saw had a hard time finishing the job (to be expected given the small size), and I had to use a hatchet to finish it. Very pleased with the product especially for the price. My only concern is that the blade might bend when sunk into thicker wood, but that is not what it is made for. Get a hatchet or bigger saw if your are chopping through logs. Would buy again, great value for the money.

J. R. Ball: Primos Folding Saw. The packaging fell apart in shipping. The plastic cover separated from the cardboard backing. It was a cheap packaging job from the manufacturer. But that's not a big deal to me as long as the saw is undamaged upon arrival. Which it was. It was in perfect shape. Good things. I like the price. It's a pretty inexpensive saw for the weekend camper. It's do the job for small cutting jobs just fine. The handle is fairly solid and pretty tight, but the plastic its made out of is a little on the cheap side. The blade was nice and sharp and cuts small branches and trees fairly easily. But the blade bends a little. You might say it's flexible. It's a great size to fit in the brain of your backpack or in a side pouch. Fits my hand perfectly. Feels good in the hand as well. The lock has functioned properly and easily so far.
I gave it three stars because for a weekend camper who goes out a few times a year, this is a fine saw. But I wouldn't call it a high quality saw for people who spend a lot of time outdoors. Would I buy it again? Yes, for the price and for the kind of use I do (weekend stuff with the kids).

AVRELIANVS: Awesome saw for the money. The blade is a good thickness, not too flexible but not too stiff. Cuts on both the push and pull stroke and while each cut isn't as fast as the pull stroke on a double toothed saw like say a silkysaw, it requires no special technique to use like pull cut saws. Cuts through wrist sized deadwood branches with far less effort and greater speed than a tomahawk and is comparable to a hatchet without the shock (good option for my carpal tunnel ridden wrists.) Overall this tool is lightweight and makes a good companion to a medium duty knife (Buck 119 for example) that is capable of spliting by batoning bc while this saw's cross cutting performance is superior to a big 10" chopping knife and on par with a hatchet, it isn't going to split given that it's well, a saw. The price on this saw is frankly incredible, it's an amazing value and budget bushcraft tool. P.S. A note on CA prop 65 cancer warnings: Both stainless steel & brass require the warning bc they contain chromium & lead respectively. Unless you are grinding these materials at very high temperatures, the chrome and lead are essentially not accessible to you, and cannot affect you, as you would...

GB: This Primos Folding Saw is quite possibly the best value of any folding saw on Amazon. Sure there are better, but not for under $11, that is for sure. Though not huge, it looks and feels fairly substantial in hand, with the cutting surface measuring right at 6 inches, and the handle measuring 8 inches. While the blade is only 0.05 inches (1.5mm), it still feels sturdy in hand and rips through wood with the greatest of ease, and works best if you just let the blade do the work without trying to apply a ton of force. The rubbery grip provides excellent traction, even when wet, and I replaced the cheapy nylon lanyard with paracord. The total width is just 2.3 inches wide, and weight is 7 oz so it won't weigh down your pack. The lock snaps perfectly in place and releases with ease, and I really like the minimally-reflective blade.
There are plenty of reasons to like this folding saw, so the nylon lanyard and fairly thin pouch are negligible in the overall picture. The only concern I have with this saw is that the blade doesn't always line up perfectly straight when closing and must be guided in once it reaches the handle, but that should not deter you from buying this saw, it is an...

Mark Fearheiley: This saw can cut and cuts well. No problem. I used this saw to cut two elk so far. I cut all four legs, the brisket, pelvic and head off. The ONLY thing is the blade bent a little, but was still plenty usable and was able to continue to be use as normal. It’s Very light weight and compact so perfect for packing/hiking. I’m going to buy another one just because.
