Anita: Easy to feed and keep and great topper for my cats food.

bobma: My cat won’t touch this stuff. He smells it and walks away - would rather starve than eat it. Amazon and seller don’t offer returns on it either so you’re taking a risk of buying. Wouldn’t buy again 🙃

HEIDI K.: I have never written a negative review on an item before primarily because it's a waste of my time to focus on something negative. But in this case, it was BECAUSE the product reviews were overwhelmingly positive that I went ahead and bought not just one bag, but 2 bags of this product in 2 different flavors. I spent over 50 dollars on just under 20 oz. of food--that's $2.5 per ounce of CAT FOOD! Now I will start with a couple of positives: The product is made in the USA, containing meat processed from animals free from antibiotics and hormones and no meat by products. I also liked that because it's freeze dried, it has a longer shelf life. I was excited when the box appeared on my doorstep and rushed to feed my cats. My 2 cats were hungry and anticipating their evening meal. The ziploc pouch contains little meat "biscuits" about the size of your thumb. It takes a few minutes to hydrate them, but they turn into a brown mush. Eager to eat, both cats approached their bowls, sniffed and walked away. That was the chicken flavor. The beef/salmon flavor was more expensive, so I opened that bag and did the same thinking that maybe that flavor would be more...

Linda Campbell: I am already a fan of primal products but I didn't see anything on this package that would've saved me realizing it was a cat food item I was looking at. It is double wrapped has never been opened the plastic wrapping that surrounded the actual cat food bag it's still intact if you won't do a refund what about an exchange for the same flavour but for dog freeze dried raw beef. I have spent a lot of money on the freeze dried raw diet's and it's a lot more money so I don't feel good about being told I can't return it when it's not even opened. All dogs food allow returns even if partial of the bag has been eaten. I know if it has been opened can get contaminated but I saw the picture of the cat and I was also alerted by the fact that the package was much smaller then what I usually get from primal. I just want to be treated fairly. And already I've had to pay for returning chicken products that my dogs are allergic to and my shipping costs for $20. So why would you except returns of the exact same label of food except for dogs and then you won't for cats same packaging just smaller. Ultimately because I do enough business with Amazon and it’s pet foods and...

Real Herbalist:
Don't write too many reviews on products, but felt obligated to do so for this one. I have a male cat about 9 years old named Cooper that was showing all the telltale signs of feline hyperesthesia. He had chewed the tip of his tail raw, to the point where he had to wear an Elizabethan collar, which he hated, and it broke my heart to watch him with it. He also had extreme twitching and rolling of the skin on his back, like he was trying to shoo off flies. My vet said that unless a change of diet changes his condition, he'd probably have to go on medication or have his tail amputated, which are two pretty terrible options, in my opinion.
Started reading all I could find about cat diets, which led me find the benefits of a raw diet. Cats have only been eating this corporate-made kibble for about 100 years, which isn't enough time for their bodies to evolve to handle it. Some can and do, but many have issues. But most raw diets are extremely tedious, and as much as I wish I did, I just didn't have the time to design and fix a raw diet for him everyday.
Enter Primal Nuggets. I saw these online and decided that I had nothing to lose by trying them. Cooper...

Starbuddy: Researched vitamins/supplement for 17 yr old cat but didn't like reviews on high cost and if really effective. Cat started turning up nose on all dry food, wet canned food (including high quality Hills Science Diet), and having been on raw food diet all his life, even getting picky with that. Was eating frozen version of Primal cubes but stopped liking that too. Really likes this Primal hydrated by itself or mixed with raw food. Ingredients are good source of vitamins and better than taking chance with supplemetnts. Easier to eat as soft and no large chunks (has some aging dental issues). Smells like chicken and not stinky like some canned food. Would highly recommend giving it a try if you have finicky cat. Nice to purchase smaller size to give a try and then if don't like it not such a waste of $$$.
