Amazon Customer: I bought this to use as a cockatiel travel cage. Very easy to assemble. I’m only using it for my two tiels to sleep in while traveling, nothing else. Since they are mostly outside their cage, I think this is okay for them to sleep in once a month for a day or two.

The door is a bit small but its not too hard to get both of my tiels through. The door and food doors dont have a “locking” groove so it can slide up easily so i’ll be using paper clips since my older tiel is an escape artist.

The benches, swing and food trays that come with are great too. The bench is lines so theres a nice grip, even if its plastic.

Basically its a great travel cage for two tiels to sleep in at the end of the day a few times a year. Im totally happy with it.

maria mazariegomaria mazariego: Sorry but this cage has a crappy design. I couldn’t get the cage to lock with the base and cage to lock with the roof. Ended up using zip ties to hold it together. Using this as a traveler cage so I’ll be keeping it. It’s cute, love the color and it’s affordable.

NOTE: Please do NOT buy this is as permanent house for your bird, this is not a suitable cage. This is suitable as a temporary home or a traveler cage. I’m sad to see people are buying this as a permanent home :(

Celle: This cage is very sturdy for it's small size, great size for travelling and also if you like a smaller cage for training sessions, as I do with my budgies. It arrived in perfect condition (although it was delivered to the wrong address and then brought to me by a neighbour), with excellent directions on how to assemble it (easily and quickly done). I only use it for training, and would use it for trips to the vet, etc. I keep my birds in a large cage, this one is too small to be used as a permanent home for your bird.

Ravynwolfe: Very small but was expected. Would not get this as a regular cage unless you kept the cage door open always so bird could come and go. Not good for any bird larger than a budgie (shell parakeets)

Francesco: Gabbietta ben costruita,ma veramente piccola.La uso per un solo canarino ed è a malapena adatta.Per lo più gabbietta da trasporto.

Peter Weston: I bought this cage for its intended purpose - a travel cage. It will certainly work well for that, however the wire gauge is a bit thin. The perches, which use tension to stay in place, slightly warp the bars. It is definitely too small for a permanent home.

That being said, it does make a very good travel cage. I would be careful to use some scotch tape to secure the bottom tray before leaving the house. Perhaps a clip of some kind could be added to a future version of the cage.

AlexisAlexis: Same as every other review, will preface by saying this is not a full-time cage for any bird (hopefully no one is seriously buying this thinking that...) but is a nice size for smaller birds' lightweight travel cage and perfect to take with you out for some sunshine etc. It would make a decent sleep cage as well but my guy does great sleeping in his flight cage so haven't bothered.

Generally wire cages are rickety enough to concern me, but this feels pretty sturdy and I'm confident that it won't come apart at any point without my exerting force to unhook things. As you can see, my green cheek conure has a decent amount of room, but he tends to just smash himself in the corner closest to me if I'm carrying him anyway. I quickly sewed up the cover you see in the pic so that if I have to walk a ways with him he is protected from the wind/rain and not as overwhelmed by people and noises. I forgot to carry the feeding cups this trip, but they would be handy to have stashed so you can fill with food water while stationary (he won't do either when we're on the move cos of aforementioned smooshing himself in the corner.) I like that the doors can rest on top of the lip of the...

MM: I bought this to be a traveling cage for my one budgie. He has a much larger main cage that I don't mind traveling with, but vet appointments are better with a smaller cage.

I would definitely not put anything bigger than a budgie in here because the door/gate is small enough that he needs to duck to get through. With a conure I guess you could remove the top for putting in and out, since it is rather easy to disassemble too.

Pros;
1. So easy to assemble and feels very sturdy - as sturdy as my $80 larger cage!
2. My bird went right in after I sat it next to his cage while he was out playing. I places millet in a container hooked onto the outside and he went in on my hand afterwards.
3. Easily sits in one car seat and the buckle goes around quite well. Lap sized too for when you are in a waiting room.

Cons;
1. The plastic perches it comes with are good to start if you don't have extra ones to spare from the main cage, but be sure to replace them because they can really tire out a bird's grip.
2. The door size as i mentioned earlier, but he was able to duck so it is fine for me.

Overall I really do recommend this!!

Gary Simpson: You need to assemble to cage when it arrives. The cage can easily be assembled. When the sides and top is in place, the cage has a sturdy feel. The cage has a slide out tray, which makes cleaning easy. When the tray slides out, there is not need to worry about the bird leaving a calling card on the floor or the tabletop, because there is a surface under the sliding tray. The perches are plastic, which makes them easier to clean than the wooden purchases that are in some cages. The two perches can be placed so they do not overlap, meaning it is less likely that there will be bird manure on the perches.

Recommended improvement: Manufacturer makes a clear plastic strip for each side of the cage, which goes two or three inches above bottom of the bars on the cage, so seeds and feathers are not as apt to be thrown outside the cage.

Naz: I didn't have my hopes up very high, I imagined "its a bird cage how can you mess it up" but when I got it and put it together I was so happy it was SOO cute and the PERFECT size for my little budge. And I didn't notice it matches her color (bonus). When I got her inside it really is bigger than it looks from the outside. The bowls fit nicely and don't fall/tip over, and the rods are pretty solid when installed. Shes not too sure about the little swing but I have it in there anyway cause its TOO CUTE. The only thing its missing which isn't really a drawback necessarily is having a swing open door on the front so you can access the entire cage without having to stick your hand through the sliding doors. If you were handy and had the tools you could probably fashion it to do this but like I said its still fine as is. Would/will buy again.
