ShannonM: We ordered "medium" for our Dachshund. The wraps fit fairly well until washing... They shrink over time, especially if put in the dryer, so now I can barely "Velcro" them around his body!!! Later, I ordered more and still purchased the medium to only occasionally use the dryer to remove the dog hair accumulated on the outside. It's been a while, and they've maintained a bit of a larger size, but my dog can wiggle out of all of them when he wants! If I tighten the wrap, he groans in short breaths as he can't breathe well!! Now I need to order again.... These wraps are VERY WELL MADE, and the materials are perfect for the use! So, I 'll probably try a larger size.

pattijul: New puppies take a while to potty train. And during that time the pup will have many accidents. I board small dogs in my home so these are absolutely necessary. I wouldn’t recommend keeping your pup in a band all the time. The way I prefer to handle it is, I put the band on one to three hours after a potty break, depending on the age of the pup. Leave it on an hour or so, then walk the dog out the door and immediately remove the band. Once they go potty, they’re back inside, band free, for another 1-3 hours.

Steph: We bought a Size Large for our 80lb Golden and they work great. A size XL might have been better but they work perfectly fine with the extender piece. (An XL maybe we wouldn't need the extender but it doesn't matter). We can adjust the fit because of how much velco is on the diaper and they fit comfortably snug. They don't spin when worn and they don't slip either which was our big issues with disposable diapers! Our dog is always covered and secure.

We've been using these for months and they have held up great. The velcro is just as strong as it was when we got them. We toss them in the washing machine and they look good as new. A couple times they didnt get very clean (I think they were clean but stained). Weve since used oxyclean stain remover in the wash with them and that works wonders. They don't retain any smell after the wash either - it really is like brand new. My only complaint is that they take a couple cycles to dry. They hold water REALLY well so I guess it makes sense. Maybe use an extra spin cycle on your wash or hand wring them out after the wash cycle, or dry with some dry towels to speed it up.

Aunt Mouse: Our male dog, despite being neutered young, still likes to mark his territory outside on the farm. When we caught him marking door frames inside the house and a laundry basket that was the last straw. He absolutely hates the wraps! He tolerates them while giving us the stink eye. I can’t imagine the wraps are especially comfortable, but no more urine on door frames or other household objects. We put the wrap on as soon as he comes inside. Remove it on his way out the door. He is 10 years old now. He didn’t mark as a younger dog (or at least never got caught. One person putting on the wrap can be cumbersome trying to keep the Velcro straight and spread apart. But the wrap does work. So far, three weeks, only ever had one be wet. I think that did the trick.

WN808: Unfortunately our 9 year old Great Dane is suffering from cancer. He was already having a little incontinence but after his chemo he was also put on prednisone which made him exceeding thirsty as he drank A LOT even for a GD. This had the consequence of him being unable to hold and peeing all over his kennel.

We had set up two beds as he would wet one and then move to the other but even that was a losing cause as he just couldn't hold it. While we could let him out of his kennel we have always put him in at least an hour before and an hour after he eats to avoid bloat which one of our GD died from...so we are especially paranoid about it. We also put him in overnight as a few dogs have been poisoned in order to rob a place and frankly we would rather any criminals just take stuff than risk him getting poisoned.

Through a friend they recommended this product so we gave it a try. Let me tell you it works great on a Great Dane. He wasn't bothered by it in the least and hasn't tried to chew it off or really even done anything to it.

This works great for his short stops both before and after Bfast and Dinner but sometimes leaks a little overnight...

Gloria FantegrossiGloria Fantegrossi: Works great, the few times he did pee in it, it held the urine and didn’t make him wet. Washes and dries well.
The XL dive we got came with an extension piece which was great, he alga’s a very small waist but lots of fur. Easy to put on, he get a tasty treat when it goes on him so he has learned to stand up when he hears the Velcro. Great product.
