Premium Sandalwood Beard Oil & Conditioner for Men - 2oz Bottle

Courtnie Harris: My fiancé loves this beard oil. This is the first time he has grown a beard add to that he is black so obviously we have been testing all types of product. He uses Billy Jealousy beard wash and conditioner/shaper because it was referred by a friend. I bought him a different type of beard oil prior to purchasing this product.

The first beard oil came highly rated and had great reviews. Once we received it we discovered 2 things:
1. It worked very well. Even on his coarse and unruly hair it helped to soften it.
2. The smell wasn’t the best. It smells highly of oil. That was our only gripe.

Later, I was browsing Amazon ( I do this often, similar to window shopping lol) and I came across this oil. I compared the two oils, the one we already had and this one. The sandalwood is what drew me in originally. I love earthy smells, sandalwood, patchouli, etc. I felt fairly confident that this beard oil would be better than the one we currently had. So, I bought it.

We just got it in maybe a week or two ago. I was hounding him to use it immediately to see if my gut was correct. I smelled it first. And yes, it has a wonderful smell, it’s light and not...

Portista: To be honest, I thought that this was a bit of a con. I mean, “beard oil”??? Men have been growing beards since Eve complained Adam’s face was scratchy, and without having someone sell them beard oil, right?

I did a little research, and discovered that men had been oiling (and in some eras, over-oiling) their beards for millenia. The Persians used perfumed oils, back when they fought the Spartans. So I figured, what the heck, I’ll try it, and ordered the smallest bottle I could find... and discovered, to my chagrin, that the stuff actually is useful— my beard looked much neater and I no longer got the little flecks of beard “dandruff” that would otherwise appear whenever I wore dark clothing. I’ve worn beards off and on since the 1980s, and hadn’t had a clue.

So I ordered the big bottle.

xDisturbed_OnexDisturbed_One: This stuff is AMAZING! I started using beard wax about a year ago. Then I decided to get a bottle of beard oil and compare the two. Definitely leaned more toward the beard oil as I started using it. It's light and makes the beard feel good.

My first bottle was Gentlemen's Beard Oil. It was good. Still had occasional itches but not bad.

Then I purchased this stuff as I was running out. And omg.... The smell is addicting! I don't really smell sandalwood as much as I smell just a woodsy aroma that just has this relaxing affect on me and it's like Zen caressing this stuff into my beard.

I love that the dropper gives you like the perfect amount of oil. About a dime/nickels worth. Massage it into your beard for about 30 seconds and you're good!

Been using this stuff about a month or so now and it's fantastic! Beard is soft, aroma is amazing, and little to no itch! For the price you can't do better! Treat yourself!

N0t0fthisW0rld: I purchased the Oakmoss Sandlewood scent. I was expecting a stronger sandlewood/woodsy scent out of the gate but it doesn't smell like sandlewood immediately after putting in on in my opinion. It's a good smell but I can't put my finger on it. After three days using the oil I have noticed that once the initial scent wears off about an hour or so there is a nice sandlewood smell that sticks around for several hours. Definitely smells like sandlewood but very subtle.

Overall I'm pleased with the oil. It absorbs into my hair nicely and gives my beard a smoother and softer well kept look using a boars hair brush. My neck line itch is gone and the oil has a great consistency, thinner and not greasy like some others I've tried. My wife loves the smell too which is a plus.

Amazon Customer: I have to say, I am fairly new to the beard industry so i have not tried hundreds of oils and balms yet, but I will do my best to review this one at the best of my ability.

So currently I have a 2 month full beard. My hairs are very thick and dense, length wise it's about 2 inches long so far. I have been using this oil for about 2 weeks daily, and so far am very very pleased with it. It has a good consistency that does not make your beard feel all heavy like a few of the other oils I have tried do. Personally, I am a fan of the smell, my girlfriend absolutely loves it as well.

I found that 5-7 drops is what works the best for my beard. I usually use it in conjunction with a balm that has more of a citrus smell and overall they smell great together. The sandalwood scent is very nice, kind of a musty woods mixed with clean, not sure how else to describe it. It is a very very pleasant smell. As for how long it lasts, I can usually still smell it through most of my day. If I apply it in the morning say 7 am, by 4-5pm it has faded for the most part.

Overall, for the price, Excellent oil. Definitely recommend it!
