lolasmom: I have several parrots and they LOVE almonds in the shell (makes them work for their treat). I have ordered 5 lbs of almonds from many different vendors. These have been the freshest & some of the largest I ever got. I can't tell you if they taste good or not, but, they are definitely delicious to my birds.

Catmanshops: None were rancid or had mold. Thus 20% of purchase is squirrel food and the rest fresh and clean.
