Of the two, this brand EVMT is my favorite. It is noticeably thicker and looks like paint after it drys, whereas SM-Sportmediq seems thinner--kind of Paint vs watercolor if you will. As to whether that equates to a stronger grip, I can't say. One is thinner and may(?) absorb better(SM) while the other is thicker and may just chip off when under pressure. I did post pics of this--rubbing on pants after application- but the EVMT wasn't nearly as dry as the SM, so much of it was removed. Take the pics with that info known. Normally I walk a few laps around the indoor track before grabbing any weights, to ensure it is dry.

I can say, neither liquid chalk is innocent of making a mess though. If I had to pick the messiest one, it would probably be this brand--EVMT.

Matthew WilsonMatthew Wilson: I have never used liquid chalk before, so I have nothing else to compare it to other than the normal chalk. I have a pull up bar in my apartment, so I needed something that wasn't messy. This fits that very well. You just pour a little out in your hands and rub them together and it dries up pretty quickly. I would say that it doesn't work quite as well as powdered chalk as it seems to get rubbed off pretty quickly and it doesn't stay on a bar like the other chalk would, but if you can't make a mess, this is definitely worth buying.

Elvin Corona: Works really well I usually sweat a lot while working out and this keeps my hands dry while doing pull ups and muscle ups 💪 I do have to re apply after a couple of sets since it does rub off while doing muscle ups but well worth it. I also like that it’s very compact . Only issue I had was I ordered a set of two and only received one and had to return and it and they did send the 2 after wards which was a hassle since I’m pretty busy but oh well stuff happens 🤷🏽

I. Hernandez: It’s a good product, I like that it’s compact and not messy (make sure to clean off the top after use), gives me the grip on the bars that I need and a little bit does go a long way. Also the chalk washes away easy with soap and water. There was no irritation or and strange smells.

The only con that I found was that when it gets wet the chalk does get a little gunky, but it could just be me because my hands sweat a lot.

Overall good product and I’ll purchase it again.

Michael David Masciotra: takes 10 seconds to dry and lasts about 30 minutes before you need to reapply. Chalk stays on hands not the weights or clothes.

I find Edelrid much better. The bottle also broke after a few uses.
