Plus giving this at night was calming and all three kittens slept. We used the whole can to transition 3 kittens who had been weaned a bit early to solid food.

virginia McKay: I have an orphaned kitten we are bottle feeding! We used the other KMR formula to start with! Then when the kitten got older I ordered this formula! Now she is not doing formula only food. I tried to return this can of formula! They won’t let me return! It is an unopened can and looks new! Now I am stuck with this can of kitten formula and can’t use it.

Michael E.: I live next to a large state forest. Many feral cats live in this forest. It's a dangerous forest for cat. Lots of wolves and coyotes. And it's difficult for these cats to hunt during the winter. The snow is too deep for them to really hunt for anything. So they eventually find their way onto my property looking for food. So I feed them. Pate and kibble and chicken. And they keep coming back, and with kittens too. I've got 24 cats/kittens that I help feed right now. More come every month while some disappear. Half or more hang around 24x7. The others come and go but live nearby. And sometimes mama cats don't return to their young. And sometimes they simply abandon them. And then they must be bottle fed and weened by me. And that where this product has helped a LOT, especially with weening. And it has helped provide extra nutrition for kittens or cats that might need that too (i.e. recovering from illness).

The kittens like it. You can mix it up as thick as necessary. And it mixes well with water. I heat water to about 110°F and then mix in the powder. It's between 100°F to 105°F once mixed. And that's the temp the kittens like it at. They'll drink it from a bottle or a...

Alice in Amazon land: Love the thickness of this one too … works so great for kittens or cats .. have a kitten I rescued from neighborhood dogs .. have no clue if someone dropped the litter off or what .. I live way out in a rural area … asked all the neighbors.. no ones .. so me and a neighbor took the 3 kittens in .. mine, I buy this milk for as she is maybe 3 months old now (was maybe 3 weeks when rescued) she is still on the small size as she was taken from her mom to soon .. but when I have this she grows like a weed for a week .. I’ve gotten 2 of these so far and will buy again.. the kitten has always ate can cat food but she needs the vitamins it doesn’t have…. Decent price for as well … all my cats love this formula… but I only give to the baby .. I did make the others a taste of it they loved it as well 😆 believe me when I say if you’re needing a supplement or have a sick cat .. or even a recovering one this is awesome!! Isabelle: My kitten drinks it. I got this as a supplemental treat before bed because she was looking to nurse on my hands at times. This has curbed that habit.

However, the can I received had no lid. Once I removed the pull tab pop top, I had to use cling wrap to create a makeshift lid. Luckily, I had a can of bread crumbs that was nearly empty and the same size so that solved my problem.

Overall, the product is good but the packaging was problematic.
