Amazon Customer: If you have an older wet/dry vac, say from Craftsman, you will find it hard to get a replacement filter that truly fits. This filter is a perfect fit. I have both a very old Craftsman wet/dry vac (circa 1985), and a newer (but very old) Ridgid wet/dry vac (circa 2011). Both use the same filter, but finding that filter has become almost impossible. Some of the "ported" filters for these vacs are supposed to fit, but that is a stretch. These filters fit perfectly. In fact, they are constructed even better than the original filters that came with the vacs.
