J.A.M.: I looked locally at that store with the big orange signs and these vents were double the price as they were on Amazon. I did go to the store and check them out in person and then ordered just one as a test to be sure of the quality. It was every bit as rigid, measurement are dead on, the vent control works smooth and properly. I ended buying another 5 of them. Now if I only I could find the time to paint the vent base white to match.. haha

Cristina: I read some reviews and thought it would not be that sturdy but I needed something within my budget. Turns out it is sturdy, not plastic, pretty convenient to place in, came with long enough screws for wall, I'll be buying one more for my other room

Jen FJen F: (1st pic to show the before) we just bought a house and the kitchen was all one color, very blah. Decided to do a matte charcoal paint to add some dimension, but the original vents were white. We didn’t want the white to stand out on the new black walls, so we ordered these black vents. Boy they are amazing!! They look perfect on the wall, and having the 3 direction vent is such an upgrade from the builders-grade white ones we had before. The size was absolutely perfect, and they vents were packaged very nicely. Little tabs to protect the corners during shipping, and the screws nicely bagged to go with them. Overall a 10/10, I didn’t think such a simple upgrade (especially at the low price point!!) would make this much of a difference!! This is a must buy!

Deb in SeattleDeb in Seattle: I had been looking for replacement air supply grills for awhile, checking the larger hardware stores regularly. My home is older, and it seems that many of the vents and grills I have are not standard size and/or are not typically in stock. I was really surprised to stumble across the size grills I needed right here on Amazon. It's such a huge improvement for a rather small cost. Although I only needed 2 grills, I ordered a third one to have on hand since this was a hard to find item, and to have a replacement in case one I have installed becomes damaged. Of the three I ordered, one arrived bent and scratched. Getting a replacement for that one was quick and easy. I've attached before and after photos.

Roger Foster: fits OK, works great, a little on the thin side compared to what we would have made 40 years ago, but its a vent cover, paint is OK but could have been better but nothing that bad that is seen from any distance.
