S Cole: This product is said to be 4” but it’s a loose fit on my 4” hose. But it still does what I wanted it for. This product also has pre drilled holes for making a more secure installation.

Amazon Customer: This item is very well-made, even though it is plastic. I like the fact that I didn’t have to use any tools to install the vent cover. It is really nice that it has the security teeth on the back of the vent cover to keep it in place so long as you already have a hole cut out, you shouldn’t have any problems other than putting it in the hole and giving it a couple of twists. Are behind a vent is a plastic guard to keep birds, rodents, and large insects out of the vent lines. I bought mine for the use of my laser engraver. I made a smoke exhaust box and have a fan set up to pay for the smoke outside. I needed something in order to keep anything from making a home inside of my vents in this did the trick! As a matter of fact, I would probably get one for any type of 4 inch vent cover as this is perfect!
