Allen Hammack: Great assortment of different sizes and colors. Only wish all the sizes had the assortment of colors to choose from. Each size is great, but It would be better if each size had multiple colors. Not just a random color for each size. The sizes only come in 1 color each, and if I want a green 6 mm instead of a red 6 mm, too bad. 6 mm only has 1 color. 5 mm only has 1 color. And there's no rhyme or reason to the assignment of colors. Also it would be great to have an electrical rating to know how much insulation the shrink tube supplied...if any at all. But still it would be a good thing to know. Shrinks and stays in place very well, and plenty of variation to accommodate multiple uses.

Logan Loghry: Overall this is a great starter kit for heat shrink tubing. I used this to cover my sprinkler systems cut wire repair that I soldered to get working. Unfortunately, the previous owners of my house cut the line (I'm assuming by accident) then buried it when they put sod down. The only reason I gave this kit a 4/5 and not a perfect 5/5 is simply because of the odd sizing per color options. Its very odd only have yellow and green each in only 1 size, no white tubing at all, and black isn't provided in each size (skips from 3.0x45mm all the way to 10.0x45mm. Great price/ value, good product, and good packaging.

L. ShulerL. Shuler: TL:DR bottom line is this is a good set with some quality heat shrink in it. That said, there are too many of the smaller ones and too few of the larger ones. Also, the larger diameter ones are the same length and not as useful for bigger jobs. I feel like most of the larger ones will be gone before I even get halfway through the smaller ones. Also, the sizes on the chart are upside down the way the box came.

One of the tubes came cut too short, but otherwise the quality of manufacture seems excellent. Shrink about what they show and quickly with a lighter. I don't have a heat gun. Didn't burn and held well. No bad smell. I like the color coding instead of all black if for no other reason than to make sorting the mixups quicker.

Mark E Miskin: I have been looking for a nice assortment of Heat shrink for a while, and found this nice little set to be exactly what I needed.

I do an assortment of repair jobs more as a hobbyist than a professional, but I prefer the end result to look professional. This nice little kit allows me to do just that. With an assortment of colors and sizes I have everything I need to both completed my task and coordinate wires by color.
Things I like best about this set: convenient tray to identify and segregate sizes. Listed effective temperature for best results (I have a temperature selector on my heat gun and this information makes it easy to produce a professional seal).
Things I do not like: I wish the set came with Yellow in each size.

SC Tech NerdSC Tech Nerd: I purchased this set to restock my workbench and was very pleasantly surprised.

Let's face it - heat shrink tubing isn't the most exciting, cutting edge product out there. It's been around forever and has *one job* to do - shrink around the connection of two wires to protect it. That said, it's surprising how easy it is to make such a simple product more pleasant to use.

The first thing that I was pleased to see is that all of the tubing is cut to a standard length (roughly 1.75") that is suitable for the majority of jobs. It's always annoyed me to have to cut longer tubing down to size. Second, the variety of colors makes it FAR easier to find the size you need and keep everything organized. Last but not least, having 12 different widths means not having to worry about having the appropriate width for any given job.

Oh, and it shrinks just like it's supposed to. An excellent product!
