OpenTrackRacer: As usual, my use for something like this is out of the ordinary. I used this flange to make a fresh air intake for my Chinese Diesel heater. My heater is mounted in a plastic bin (to make it weatherproof) and secured to the outside of my Jeep. I needed to make all the inputs and outputs dust proof so using a simple grill wouldn't work. This flange was perfect. I added a dust cap that I remove when the heater is running and the long "snout" design also keeps rain out. Super happy.
