ERNEST CORBINERNEST CORBIN: I got 1 year out of this. The inside brass cracked in 3 spots. Good thing water sprayed in my water connection access hatch. Too late to get warranty from seller. I'll probably buy another one tho and just un-hook it in the fall.

Ripli: This one works for me. Jay Feather 24T travel trailer.
I installed a cupboard door In the bedroom to gain access to the back of this part as well as the water tank fill tube and outdoor shower and water pump. Ended up with a new storage area in all that wasted space.

Leo: The plastic hand knob pressed onto the barss threaded part will soon start to slip and make it hard to tighten the hose fitting. It helps to spray some oil behind the brass part and on the hose thread.

Wildernessman: I have a 2008 RV which has a water connection that's rather large in flange outside diameter. This one is a couple of inches smaller in flange OD than the original. Also the hole in my RV wall matched the original (large) flange diameter. So I had to cut a piece of plywood to fill-in difference between the old flange and this new flange OD. So if you have a city water connection that has roughly a 4 inch flange OD, this one will not match up. Otherwise the quality looks good.

CasaDeTrevino: The water pressure was getting very low in our RV and I never would have thought it was our city water inlet. The check valve had become dismantled somehow allowing it to become cockeyed and impede water flow. This would cause the water to go down to a trickle. After replacing our old inlet with this product the pressure is better than ever.

This has three holes for mounting, one more than my original had.

The plastic part appears to be made well.

As you can see by the picture the threads are male. Keep in mind that you also may need to buy a extension piece if your wall is too thick and your present city inlet is female threaded, like ours was. Being that our old inlet was female threaded I had to run to the hardware store and grab a 1/2' female to male coupler piece. If it hadn't been for that the job would have taken 10 minutes. Take a peek before you get started so you'll know what you need.
