John: These state they are 10000mah and they are!!!!! Previous use in my fuel pump was only about 100L before they drained. (rechargeable another brand) I have already pumped 250L with the first set and still have reserve power. I actually do not know yet how much they will do. Very Very impressed. Also very well priced. Best rechargeable batteries I have ever used and I have been using this type of rechargeable battery for many many year.

Gordon: When I first received the batteries I did a wait comparison. Big difference, the Tenergy batteries are 3 times heavier than energizer 2500 mAh D cells. When charging in the energizer charger it takes twice as long, but I expected that. When used in my 3 D cell LED flashlight the beam is brighter and lasts longer.

Jimmy Taylor: EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS who has troubles believing these batteries are bad (won’t change showing an error or null). I have many “SMART or INTELLIGENT” chargers (controlled by advanced auto sensing circuits) and IF the battery is drained below a certain point or depleted, sometimes these batteries show an error or simply are not recognized because the intelligence can’t detect a fully dead battery or below a certain voltage.
IF YOU USE A CHARGER WITHOUT THE FULL AUTO SENSING “intelligent” CIRCUITRY, IT WILL CHARGE. I have placed these “supposedly malfunctioning” batteries in a MORE MANUAL CHARGER THAT IS NOT SO SMART (just auto-off) for 10–30 minutes (enough to infuse a certain charge or polarity, then place them back into you smart charger… bingo. THESY ARE RECOGNIZED & CHARGES 100% or the time. Or just leave them in there until charged.
I have used this solution for many years and it works 100% of the time with battery errors / unrecognized with intelligent chargers, many hundreds of times. These older more manual chargers just begin charging when you place a battery in them, it doesn’t look for status, battery voltage or battery type...

Wanos: I have been using these for a little over 3 years. Amazon records show I purchased them in April, 2013. It is now May, 2016. Unlike others who reported failure rates, I purchased 8 units x4=32 total batteries and all of them worked. I use them 5-6 times a year when camping, and therefore recharge them each time before a trip. Total recharges probably less than 20 times per battery. (3 years x 6 = 18). They've always recharged fine (using Tenergy chargers) and worked great, allowing my lanterns to last for 4-5 nights (turning on when the sun goes down to roughly around 11 pm or so when going to bed).
However, at least one battery leaked into my expensive Coleman remote control lantern, ruining it badly. As a result of just purchasing some pretty expensive remote controlled and 1,000 lumens (yes you heard me right, 1,000 lumens) battery powered, German-made expensive lanterns (which are bright as frick btw), I had to purchase some different brand (EBL) batteries as to not ruin them. Hopefully the rest of the remaining batteries I have left doesn't ruin my older equipment. I might sell them or something on Craigslist to reduce the risk.

R. Adams: I use batteries for a lot of things and rechargeable NiMH batteries excel in almost every application (much better than NiCads which can develop a "memory" that reduces their charge capacity.) In a head-to-head performance test between the Tenergy standard NiMH D cells and Ray-O-Vac "Hybrid" NiMH D cells, the Tenergy out-perform by a wide margin. They run wireless outdoor speakers for hours longer than a set of Ray-O-Vac "Hybrid" D cells. My friends installed 4 Ray-O-Vac "D" Hybrids in one speaker and 4 Tenergy standard D cells in a duplicate speaker and ran them equally over time and recharge cycles. A Tenergy charger is used to recharge them. The Tenergy batteries have performed so well that I bought them another set of Tenergy D-size NiMH to replace the Ray-O-Vacs. (Not that it's necessarily an indicator of capacity or quality, the Tenergy NiMH batteries are noticeably heavier than other brands of NiMH rechargeables of the same size.)
I was happy with the Ray-O-Vac NiMH AA and AAA "Hybrids" compared to rechargeable Duracell, Energizer and Sears brand AA and AAA batteries because they provided almost twice the running time in a pair of Uniden walkie-talkies that I keep on...
