MatMat: Installed these on my '99 Ram 1500. Installation is quite simple, they bolt directly in place of the stock mirrors. They come with a pair of metal reinforcement brackets that need to be used, or else they're gonna flop around... Pretty sure the people complaining about the mirrors moving around when they drive just bolted them on and tossed the reinforcement plates in the trash. You get the standard broken English translated instructions that are next to useless, but it's all pretty self explanatory once you get the door panel popped off and have at it.

I got the powered/heated mirrors for mine, the harness pigtail on the new mirrors plugs right into the harness for the originals. The power adjust and heat both work just fine. Be careful not to pinch the wires when you tighten the mirrors in place, it's pretty tight in there where the wires are routed through the base of the mirror where it bolts to the truck.

The plastic has a "cheap" feel to it, but the mirrors are sturdy. Once you get about 5 feet away you can't tell that they're cheapos and not some $600+ dodge originals. I've had them on the truck a couple weeks now and have no complaints.

Amazon Customer: I would give five stars but you definitely have to be extra cautious with routing the wiring or else you will end up with cut wires once you tighten the mirror in place. Otherwise solid mirrors and all the electronics work as they should. No excessive shaking/vibration if installed correctly. Wind noise can probably be corrected with a better dust gasket than what comes with it but was honestly too lazy to worry with this and am not particularly bothered by the sound.
