Neal:
I have owned a lot of chainsaws over the years, gas and electric, small and large. For a full sized saw this is my favorite. I previously had a Poulon Pro 18" that served me well for years and they have made significant improvements in this newer model. Here are the highlights:
1. Price for quality
2. Made in USA
3. Quick starting
4. Powerful for the engine size
5. Efficient
6. Comes in a hard case pre assembled
7. Integrated tool in handle
8. Comes with Oregon blade
Truly an excellent saw, at a price point much lower than most brand names of its size and caliber. I have already cleared about a quarter acre of dense scrub forest and it goes through trees like a hot knife through butter. Plenty of power for 20", solid quality control, and of course made in USA. Given that the competition is about twice the price, don't cheap out on some junk, get this saw and you won't be disappointed.

Speaker of the Truth:
For the money, I think you will have a hard time beating this chainsaw. The construction is solid and it runs perfectly. I've seen people complain that it's hard to start, but I haven't found that to be at all true. Follow the directions and it starts right up. People also complain that the chain throws too much oil, which tells me that they don't understand how chainsaws work. It does use a lot of oil to lube the chain, and that is a good thing.
I've only used the saw maybe 6 hours so I can't speak to how it holds up over time, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. If a problem arises, I'll update the review. I rate this saw a strong buy.

Callout:
I recently had several trees come down in a wind storm and I didn't feel like fighting with my much older 18" (Poulan built) Craftsman that refuses to safely idle. At work we use all Stihl saws which may have spoiled me but I don 't have enough work to justify $1000 plus saws. I was looking for a Husqvarna and expected to pay in the range of $650. I couldn't find the models I wanted without ridiculous price hikes and I luckily stumbled onto this unit at barely over $200.
Just to clarify and get this out of the way, this is by no means a professional grade saw. It does however fill the gap between a small gas homeowner unit and a small professional unit. The case is relatively robust but not what you would call tough. The unit is easy to start cold and hot but strangely requires choke to start warm, a trait I've seen with other Husqvarna/Poulan (same company) products. If felling sights or marks are important to you you will have a tough time adding them due to the shape/design of the casing. All of that aside, it is a great cutting inexpensive saw. The extra weight of the larger engine is paid back in extra power over the smaller 38ccish engines...

Benjamin W.Benjamin W.: I bought this chainsaw so I could clear land and cut firewood for my family. It started easily but seemed to lack power. After about 45 minutes of pretty mild use the chain came off. When I put the chain back on I noticed that the bottom metal bracket that guards the chain from hitting the user had bent (pictured). After I returned the chain to its place and tensioned it I started the saw. The chain will barely move. I contacted Amazon but my return window had closed a week prior. I contacted Square Trade, the warranty company Amazon uses and they told me it was covered by Poulan. I contacted Poulan and they referred me to their dealer in my area. I called them and they said it wouldn't be covered and told me that it was my fault. I've been clearing land for 15 years and I've never had this happen to a new saw. Now I have to buy a new chain $25 and possibly a new bar $30. I also have to take my 4 year old twins with me to a small engine repair shop and it's going to be a night mare because they are going to want to touch everything while I'm trying to figure out what my chainsaw situation is. I'm tired of companies that are not accountable for the products they...
