So easy to move drill press now. My only complaint is that the assemble instructions are not written with great clarity. There are assembly pictures but it isn't the easiest to decipher. Still its a great product one assembled.

Ti-blanc: La base mobile est solide et semble être d'excellente qualité. Seule l'utilisation fréquente et à long terme me permettra d'en faire une évaluation plus détaillée.

the tool man: I bought this for my PM66 table saw. It is rated for the weight, and was a lot less expensive than the 3500 version, which would have been overkill. Assembly was straightforward, even though the instructions are not very good. All of the hardware was included. And the parts are well made with nice powder coated finish. One issue I could not get an answer on before I bought it was whether the Bora 3245 extension base would fit this. Since Bora doesn't sell but one extension base, I hoped it would. But it doesn't. It only fits the 3500 base. It would be easy for them to make an adapter, but they don't. So I'm deducting a star for that. Either buy the 3500 base (at twice the price) or plan on making your own adapter like I'm doing.

Mark A. Prather: This is probably a very good product for drill presses, band saws, and such. I bought to hold a refrigerator so I could move it around easier. It did not meet my needs for what I wanted it for.

Matt Iutzi: This product is great, but the instructions are a joke, only vague pictures with no part numbers.

RolidnotRolidnot: I own 3 of these bases, one of the PM-2500 models and 2 of the slightly smaller PM-1050’s for smaller machines. The difference is machine size and weight capacity. I just got the PM-2500 and got it assembled today but not in place under the machine yet.
I’ve learned from experience that assembling these bases takes some engineering corrections, thought and a base insert.
I add extra bolts on the base connecting bars and I add a 3/4 inch piece is plywood inset into the base and bolt it to the base.
Why? For stability, weight bearing ability and easy of installing a machine into the base which is open. The plywood allows me to slide a machine into place and it distributes weight around the base evenly and adds strength.
I seriously doubt the manufacturer claims of 650 pound weight capacity when the base rails are fully extended. A lot of the one star reviewers have found this fact out the hard way and their reviews are accurate.
I plan to to put a 200 pound washing machine on the larger PM-2500 which will be set 28 inches by 28 inches with the additional bolts and the 3/4 inch 28x28 plywood bolted in place.
What I like about these bases...

Dave: The base was assembled in 5 minutes and had enough adjustment to allow for use on any piece of equipment I have. It allows the equipment to be moved easily and locked into place for stationary use.

E.D. Carr: very simple to assemble, can have wheel locks on an end or a side depending on how you want it to move.
Used this on a jointer that weighed over 200 pounds. Made the move from storage area to work area very simple.

Michele Salphine: These are not the lowest price out there but are the best quality I have found. Have a couple of different Bora mobile bases in my wood shop and they blow away the OEM ones on my other tools.
