Jay: Its been a decent tool for my use. Mainly use it for water depth and has worked well for my personal needs. The tempurature is also pretty accurate.

Stephen McCreight: Nice size sonar fish finder. Perfect size for any kayak or canoe. The neck strap is a nice safety feature. I love that it uses little battery juice and that the batteries are small (#4 AAA.) Volume on fish notifications is perfect. You can also hang the transmitter off your boat in the water. I feel that it is worth every dollar. Great price @ $40.
